Don't worry. You pregnant ladies will lose the weight. You're still young. I gained 45 lbs with my first. I was 120. I was 165 when I gave birth 3 weeks past my due date T_T I breast fed and in 3 months I was back to my pre pregnancy weight. You can do it

I am pregnant again with my second. It's nice to see other ladies out there pregnant that are playing FFR xD

I'm only 13 weeks. And I had gained 5 lbs already (1st tri mester max gain according to doc) but then I got really sick and lost it all. -_- I will be on the bandwagon in late August/early sept

It's basically modified water so there is no difference in taste between regular water and alkaline. I lost quite a bit of weight without trying and my eating habits went down because of it. To say how well it works i went from 248 to 166 in about 9 months because of it and im still loosing.

5'10", 165ish (maybe a little heavier since it's been a while since I last weighed myself)
23.7 BMI.
I'm trying to gain weight right now. Ever since I stopped playing volleyball so seriously and my routine workouts, I've been pretty disappointed with myself and my fitness. There's a gym down the street from my dorm, I just need to go more than I currently do, which is... not enough.

/goes to gym for intramural volleyball now xD

oh yea if I get into better shape I should be able to play varsity next year, since I probably could have played this year if I didn't come when there were already 4 liberos on the team =/ I chose a bad year to go to university.

5'11, 170.3 pounds right now. Down from 185 not too long ago.

Shed those pounds in about 3 weeks. Was very happy with my progress. I used to exercise a lot. However, I injured my shoulder pretty badly about a year ago, and that has prevented me from doing many exercises, so I almost stopped entirely.

Gained a lot of weight in the process (Was about 170 before the incident). Want to get back down to 165.


Exercises are pretty basic right now. Some basic weights, lots of abdominal exercises, some leg exercises. Most of the weight is being lost due to diet change. I eat primarily 4-5 small meals a day right now. 2 Eggs or soup when I wake up, a shake after I do a workout, some fruit and vegetables throughout the evening, if I get a chance some chicken or other associated protein too. I only drink water, other than post workout.

It leaves me feeling hungry at times, but it's not too bad, and i'm still dropping almost half a pound a day. As such, I should only have to keep this up for another two weeks I think, and then I'll readjust my diet to maintain my weight.

Very untrue, you don't need to gain weight at all. People think it's a great excuse to stuff themselves with crap which is stupid and makes them pile on the pounds.

By the time I was full term (40 weeks) I weighed less than before I fell with child, because I eat properly for my baby.

Actually, it's very true; it's medically established that gaining weight during pregnancy is natural and healthy.

That doesn't mean you should eat junk, because gaining too much weight during pregnancy can cause problems too.

But you're supposed to gain weight. It's very unhealthy not to. It can cause delivery of a pre-term infant, low birthweight baby or other fatal problems.


I have no idea how you managed to lose weight. A natural, healthy mother at the time of birth should be at least 20 pounds heavier than starting weight, unless she was obese to begin with.

With that said, I'm guessing your baby is perfectly fine, but that doesn't make you the norm. It makes you rather unusual, no offense intended.
