Though I do not believe I should give sympathy for those who don't post for every round, by letting them pass. Still debating it.

Yeah I kinda give up. D3...wayyyy to good for me but whatever. This is why I hate elimination tournaments lol :P
Because I know future rounds hold harder and faster songs which I love playing ![]()

I refuse to accept scores that were not a full fledged effort either.
Ya know, someone who can SDG the fmo that is picked, posts like a 30 good score just to advance, yeah that won't happen.

yeah, but how are you going to work that rule? say someone has to do schoolwork or something and posts a placeholder score only to not come back. what's the borderline between a full-fledged effort score and not? besides, a junk placeholder score is too likely to be eliminated anyways.

Brian, they are still posting a damn score. A score is a score. If he wants a crappy score as a placeholder then let him do it. He still is participating at least.

I've dealt with that **** in the past and the person ended up winning aka boondocks, getting by 4 rounds in a row with 100 good scores on FMOs, and ends up winning with an FGO AAA because he didn't want to try until the end. ENOUGH

Both of you need to cool down and take it away from the thread.
Now. Edit: Quote:

I will be accepting scores whether players have put forth their full effort or not, unless the lack of effort is to remain in a lower division.

For those of you playing on DF's engine for your rounds - I put the engine on an actual .html page so those of you using the browser can choose how zoomed in you want the page to be:
http://www.keysmashingisawesome.com/ That's it. There's also a link to the .swf if you still want it full-screened again. Special thanks to Velocity for adding a little bit more to the engine. Back to schoolwork, wheeee! Last edited by TC_Halogen; 11-30-2010 at 06:00 PM.. |
