Hey, I just noticed this today: instead of the timestamps for posts saying the exact time, like "12:01 PM" for example, they just say something like 1 minute ago or 1 hour ago. Did the forum change its default settings or did I accidentally hit something in my settings while I was asleep? I've looked for ways to change it back but haven't found anything yet. It's not really a problem, it's just that I prefer the old way. Sorry if I'm being stupid, I just want to know if everyone's timestamps are changed or if it's just me.

No. Not unless Synth reverts to the old way.

I think today is the first day it's happening. It doesn't matter either way. You should still recognize a new thread or a new post.

I preferred the old one. It's easier for me to see that something was posted at 10:19 AM instead of see that it was 6 minutes ago, look at the clock, learn that it's 10:25, subtract six minutes, find out the post time.

yeah, but why do you need to know the exact time as opposed to how long ago it was?

You thought I was a GUY?!
|
I have been liking it for seeing how long it has been since a topic has been posted on, and I have also wanted to see the time to see WHEN it was actually posted, so really I can see good arguments for both. (Can we have both?)

I think it would be a nice option to have in the forum display options, if such a thing is possible. I think I preferred the old version too, but that's just because I hate change =(.
