Ambient Angels [11 or 10?]
This thread about this file had to be made.
It was a 10 before when it came out for the tourney, then later on got bumped up to an FMO. Honestly, I am shocked. The file is plenty easy enough for a 10, maybe a mid-high 10 at least. The jumpstream is a bit fast; however, the patterns are fairly simple to hit correctly and the difficulty peak increases at a good enough rate. |

I have to agree with Alex, here. I don't get why people whined about the ending and got it bumped up to an 11. The patterns are very easy to read, and the entire structure of the chart flows well. Sure, it's fast but that's not stopping anyone from scoring decently on it. Requesting bump to 10.

don't mind it being an 11. it's quite dense and faster than EHHS.

Re: Ambient Angels [11 or 10?]
FYI, it's not faster than EHHS. (EHHS is 180 bpm, ambient angels 167)
I'd say low 11 cause of the density in the end. You don't see that in any other 10 at that speed really.

Re: Ambient Angels [11 or 10?]
EHHS isn't nearly as dense as Ambient Angels though. I'd vote 11 simply because of the split jumpstream patterns near the end were enough to wreck 98% of my AAA attempts.

It feels faster than all of the songs, but it's really not.
The density of Ambient Angel's ending is pretty harsh for a 10. It rivals some 11s in terms of reading difficulty. I'd like to see it stay as an 11, but don't have an opinion either way. |

Re: Ambient Angels [11 or 10?]
Leave it as an FMO the entire 2nd half is similar to EHHS which is easily an FMO. The intro's a little easier though, but not enough to make up for the middle/ending section.
And while not as fast it's still dense as shit. |

Re: Ambient Angels [11 or 10?]
so we come to the conclusion that either,
A: 11 because of density. or B: 10 because patterns are relatively easy to read. >.< |

Re: Ambient Angels [11 or 10?]
I'm convinced it's an 11 now after playing EHHS.
Ambient Angels doesn't have any bad habitable patterns but the ending can get dense and too fast to stay consistent on the jumpstream. One of the lowest FMOs to say the least. |

Re: Ambient Angels [11 or 10?]
It's not 'difficult', but calling it easy is a bit too far.
The density towards the end makes it harder to read, and for people like me, who are still developing their reading ability for FMO's and up, it can be a real struggle. In all honesty, I struggled with the density of the end of Hey Hey Monkey. I think it should stay as an 11.
