That SAT score is impressive as hell. Very nice. I think a lot of universities will see that, and take it upon consideration for your admission when you apply.
However, if you're lazy in college, I will admit that you probably shouldn't attend. College has some room to be lazy, but not nearly as much as high school. That was one thing that I had to learn the hard way. I made A's and B's in high school, but I didn't really have to try at all. When I got to college, the same mentality was first applied. I ended up doing very badly and I dropped out after the first 2 years. Luckily I came back, and I decided to come back with a fresh mind ( i ended up doing way better and am about to transfer to grad school). My point is, if you don't know what you want to do in life, that's fine. You will figure yourself out more as you go through college (i.e. your strengths and weaknesses). However, if you feel overwhelmed from high school, it's probably wise that you take a break. Maybe get a job? Some people have to experience the real world before they finally decide that they want to take school seriously. I hope this helps. |
