Re: The Songs of FFRmas
Palace of Destruction is as DarkZtarry as a DarkZtar file gets.

Re: The Songs of FFRmas
For Ultraplayers: not my cup of tea.
Some parts set up a really fun aggressive layering scheme, then immediately transitioned into a layering scheme that was way easier despite the song really not changing much. That meant a lot of parts didn't match the intensity of the song at all for me. Some layering and minijack usage felt really suspect (especially the intro, those crashes really feel like hands to me...) and as a result of the pacing issues I mentioned above, the difficulty curve was a little wonky. This is fairly harsh review (there's definitely many good points to the file, don't get me wrong) but eh, wasn't feeling it. Overall seemed like a just kinda decent file for a song with a ton of potential. Palace of Destruction: Literally the most DarkZtar ever. That means lots of good things, like really fun PR 12th guitar solos in the middle. That means some interesting things, like the polyrhythms that actually felt alright to play but that I personally would never have stepped in such a manner. And that also means some bad things, like 1212[12]12 patterns at the end of a 3:40 long file. pls. Overall, I think it's unfortunately going to get lost a bit in with the bazillion other FMO S.S.H. files, but it was enjoyable. By the way despite being 10 points lower I found Palace to be far harder to PA than For Ultraplayers... my score on it was 7-1-0-3 compared to 7 clean easily on Ultraplayers. idk I'm weird EDIT- hehe Kayla this is not the Meme File post you're looking for

Re: The Songs of FFRmas
I may have been a bit too korean in For UltraPlayers
There was a few things I wanted to fix (namely layering) but laziness, shitty mp3 and inability to make good files was keeping me back rip edit: it appears the wrong version of the file was uploaded Last edited by rCaliberGX; 12-18-2014 at 05:31 AM.. |
