Alto sax 1 year
violin 3 years
tuba 4 years. <-- my best

i dont play anymore, last I did was a community band in first year undergrad. wow, this was close to 10 years ago now!!

hi I'm going into the navy as a french horn player and have been playing that for ~10 years and have a bachelor's in music education(which means I can play every instrument but that doesn't mean I'm good at all of them. Secondary is definitely trumpet)

Currently

Guitar - Well, started 3 years ago but pretty much quit after 6 weeks, so I count it as one year (which I've been playing a fair amount)
Ukulele - 6 months
Harmonica - 1 month
Drums - 2 days

Considering I'm a teenager with minimum wage and my mom makes me pay for all my instruments I pray to god I don't lose interest in anything.

Been playing drums for 5 years. Wish I could get a nice pair of electrics but I don't have the room for them yet, hopefully when I move to Vancouver I'll have more room.

I'd just pick one and stick to it until you graduate. Everything takes years of practice, and it's better to focus on one instrument rather than many.

All the other wind instruments only one semester each in college.
