If Travis_Flesher is reading this, what everyone is trying to get at is that it's an absolute essential to have a correct BPM for a song and sync it in order to step it. Otherwise it's going to be scruitinized for not being on time with the music, and at higher levels of play, is 100% required otherwise it's unplayable, because the notes won't match up with the music.

I implore you, download it, and see what syncing can do. You can release as many files as you'd like and have fun making them like that, but no one else will play them, and the reason comes all back down to whether it's synced or not.

I think this thread should be locked because people here are mostly making fun of this guy and also posting random off topic pictures, you guys by now should know what travis is and what he's trying to do but you guys keep falling for it (or you just want to do so for the laughs) but i think this forum is for serious discussion, there is another place for this.

I think we could learn a thing or two from this.

For TOO LONG we have been constrained by stepping social constructs, bigoted notions like "synced BPM" and "accurate patterns". After all, what is a synced BPM but a speed which lines up with our preconceived notions of the tempo the song should follow? And what is an accurate pattern but a mere way to mash keys at 30NPS, except in a way that arbitrarily makes sense for us? I think this is the next generation of stepping here.

ANYONE can make a file that's "good" or "proper", but it takes a true file maker to create something that's... well whatever this is supposed to be.
