I think I might start playing ranked games.

Is ranked solo just as bad as normal solo?

at first yes if you win it gets better
if you lose it gets worse

Basicly, they have something called "Elo Hell" you start at a set amount, and as you win, it will show your rank when you hit 1200. Im pretty sure you start at 1000 or 1100 and get somewhere around 16-42 points per game, depending on who you play with, if you are "Solo qued" or you do the "Solo que" with 1 other person, and depending on there rank.

EX1 You play the "Solo que" by yourself, you will get around 26-36 points per game. If you win over and over, you will get more and more points, if you lose over and over, you will lose less and less points.
You will get more because you will face harder people, with a higher "Elo" rating. or you will lose less because you are playing with people from a lower "Elo" bracket
EX2 you play with me, i have a 145x rank, we will play against the same people, but it will count you and me as 1450 rating, so you would only win 16-26 points. Since they are sitting at a much lower rank then mine.
EX3 you play with someone who has 10000 wins 1 loss, if you win, you will get 46 points. And so on and so forth.

Pre 1300, you will get mostly kids who are fresh 30's, or 30's who are newer to the game, Or at least play like they are newer to the game.
Post 1300, you will start to play with people that have more then 2-3 "Main champions" and will pick depending on what the team needs, Instead of going for there 1-2 champions that they want to play no matter what.

In the last 20 games i played of 1300- ranked, i have gone DPS 2 times. Every other time, i am the only tank because everyone else refuses to go support/tank, and decides to go there carry of choice.

P.S. Just realized, first word was "Basicly" -.- Thats not so basic, now that i look at it sober XD

Craziest game of LoL I have EVER played. 34-7-11 as tank Garen, with an ok Kennen and a Kog who left and ****ed us over. It made me understand how much leavers can **** up a game. We absolutely would have won if he had stayed because the Amumu on the other team had tons of health and we didn't have enough dps to get him down before they killed us both.

Don't ever ****ing leave a game for any reason you pricks

Mmhm, Thats why i like ranked better, Alot worse penalty's if you are a consistent leaver >.< Amazing faceroll build on kat though XD as you can see, it works every time haha
I was debaiting weather or not to get another bloodthirster... But a G Angel is good to XD

Oh and sullyman, you should have picked up a razor then, they would have ripped through amumu >.< but its all situational =p

Huh, Didnt know it counted damage from ignite. 124k Physical dmg, 170k Magic dmg = 294k.

292k =/= 300k -.-

4 Bloodthirsters, Rylai's, and Sorcerer's Shoes is the way to go on Kat. With the red elixir and fully stacked Bloodthirsters, you push close to 600AD.

btw, in-game name is Dalebert (level 30).
Mains - Singed, Mordekaiser, Miss Fortune. On-hit effect Shaco is fun, because clones still proc on-hit effect items on attacks (Madred's, Black Cleaver, Malady.... it's fun =P)

Also, going to something unorthodox (just because I never see it used outside of my one friend, who got me started on the concept)..... AP Miss Fortune. Sure, her single hits aren't as strong, but she does a LOT more damage with her E and R.

Edit: Holy crap, most games around an hour long? Most of mine end at about 35-40 minutes....

On hit effects do not work on shaco any more, they changed that quite a while back, because as soon as a shaco could get there blood razor, they could solo barron. If farmed well, as soon as barron spawns they can solo.

And depending on the team comps, and how good your teammates are, if it is a lower tier game, there usually arent as many aces to push/take inhib, or put enough pressure on the lane.

But with some higher tier games, since it is a full group push, its a ace or most of there team will be up. And put some very good pressure on the team, over and over, and win in around 30-45.

Well neither does 294k but I didn't read past damage dealt, you know, because I didn't care that much.

And I have to disagree with you on the aces bit. If your team's dumb and don't realize the teamfight's going south then no one's going to try to book it out of there and end up aced. Or they go in one by one and end up aced.

Maybe you don't mean low elo, maybe you mean low level?


Personally, I rarely have games last an hour. But when I do it's awesome.

Well like... If a team fight goes bad, and the enemy team has enough cc to keep people from escaping easily, there isnt much you can do.
Of the ranked games ive done, I have had about 80-90% last more then 50 mins. And most of the people i played with, Weren't of the highest caliber

True, true. Less aces and crippling team fights makes it hard to push down towers and inhibitors. Although, if it was a crippling team fight, and the other team is stupid enough to stay and defend that tower that has less than half health, sending in your most resilient person first is the way to go =P.

Also, while a lot of CC WILL hinder a team's chance at running from a bad fight, it hinders it even more if everyone runs in a group -_-. Run in separate directions or spread out a little bit. The other team will usually send 2-3 people after one person, leaving the rest of the fleeing team to escape.



Tank Morde is a scary man. Over 300 armor / 200 magic resist. Tack on what his W adds... it's wonderful.

Morde is REALLY good, I don't care what anyone says. He's probably the best person to use as a side solo if you have a jungler.

Also, he and Singed combine for 2/3 of my 6 ranked games played =D. My only loss is with Nasus >.>.
