Feel free to participate. It won't go on for a while, so you have plenty of time to practice. I bet half of the people who play aren't very experienced at fighters *glances at Midday and myself*.

I'm only experienced at MASHING fighters, i played some that aren't before, but IaMP its truly hard for new players *glances at myself* The only Touhou i played before were Perfect Cherry Blossom, The embodiment of Scarlet Devil and i was about to get Imperishable Night and SWR today, maybe tonight or at least tomorrow. Anyways, yeah i will practice a lot until the tourney!

Also, IaMP is still pretty mashy, I would say.

Where the hell is Midday...

I freakin hate hate hate hate hate hate the freakin' 30+ frame input window that constantly makes me use 421B/C instead of 214B/C...I was thinking about using Reimu and seeing if I couldn't use her 214B/C more effectively than the others Reimus I've seen who largely ignore it. I noticed that it freakin COMBOS INTO ITSELF and then into Youkai buster for 2.6k damage, as well as being (theoretically, I haven't used it in a match against a real person yet) good for spacing. I'm also screwing around with her alt. 421B/C that doesn't leave you defenseless if it's blocked AND does more damage. I just wish she wasn't a character essentially built around her blockstrings...I'm considering saying screw the blockstrings, and playing her like I do Suika, Sakuya, and Marisa...Well, not really considering, more like I've decided to and I'm considering learning her blockstrings at a later date.

We should have an SWR tournament too..come on, Midday. I won't be able to participate in an IaMP tournament for at least a month, and I don't even feel like starting IaMP right now when there are like 3 more characters in SWR I still wanna learn (potentially bringing me up to 9 of the 15 characters).

th075booster. It's a bot that learns from watching people play IaMP (seriously!), though it would be a lot better to just download Armando's data so the bot automatically knows basically everything. Playing it is great practice that's hardly any different than playing a human except for it being completely lacking in mind games (I'm not 100% sure on this, never actually used it, but I really doubt the code is good enough to allow it to yomi like a tournament pro).

There's a page about it on the IaMP wiki that Midday linked in the first post.

Hosters have less strain. That's a natural thing, regardless of who I play with, the host always has less lag.

I mean, read my random thought. I went out and used 2000$ to buy a new one just so I can stay in touch with you guys. Didn't expect to see a complaint in one day. It's still temporary, and the time I have on the computer is very limited. Excuse my absences. Geez.

Find SWR players. Recruit them. Make Xiao play. Do something about players.

th75booster is on CowCaster options.

Also, regardless, you should start playing IaMP now.

For me, the problem was solved by Sammy and we played a little, i just forgot to put CowCaster next to Th075 in the folder and type mizuumi.net, where i should have!

Well, when will you be back with your own computer then?

Host has less or no input delay, but more SYSTEM strain is what I'm saying. Just try it if you have the time, 'cause I've played both gpop and Kotarouchan without any lag at all, and against Kotarouchan, he said HE was getting lag when I was fine.

Checking Brawl ladder thread... but yes, we should most definitely have something of the sort.

Here's the killer: I'm not allowed to play games that I get frustrated at until summer ends. FFR SM seem to be fine, but all Touhou, melty blood, and LRO are out of the question.

vvav: When I played Kotarouchan, he had less lag when he hosted. I had no lag both times.
