Re: Let's do a speedtest thread
Ping is usually 23ms when I run a test. By the way, Comwave BLOWS. Pinged to approximately where League's servers are once... Quote:

Re: Let's do a speedtest thread
Oh... I wonder how my work's Internet is.
EDIT: I wasn't expecting a huge number because the ping feels so slow, what the fuck?

Re: Let's do a speedtest thread
I was like "oh, the internet seems a lot quicker at home today than usual...let's run speedtest.net!". I have low standards of what an "acceptable" internet speed is

Re: Let's do a speedtest thread
I was getting ~27/2 last month at best, and more recently it was dropping to under 1/2 for some unknown reason.
So for 10/mo more and a simple modem restart we're at: Though there is a fiber startup happening within (basically) driving distance, So I'm hoping that will catch on and kick the ISPs into "Ok, maybe we care" mode. Right now its a rip, you get one viable choice depending on where you're located, and if you aren't paying for one of the top end packages or a large bundle the level of service you get is pretty much "theres the door, don't let it hit you on the way out!" . |
