In this case, wouldn't it be "sink your ship"? I am all for global dimming.

Cools the planet, slow/reverse polar melting, reduce/reverse global sea rise, increase plant productivity, and increase terrestrial CO2 sink. Now if we could only stop using fossil fuels we might be able to mitigate more damages.

Yeah, I'm aware of that picture, which is why I didn't use it. That plane is also much bigger in size, as its for passengers.

Duration of contrails depend on the humidity of the air at that particular altitude. Often the humidity levels very greatly between ground level and several thousand feet above. That's all I have to say about the "contrail hanging around too long" reason for thinking it's something malicious.

There's old ways of actually shooting your chemicals or metals up into the atmosphere with a rocket of some sort, I'm not sure they actually use a rocket. (the chinese actually do this, do you need a source?) But that's not the case here:

Do you know what aerosol stands for?

They actually do use rockets, it is called "Cloud Seeding" It forces precipitation when it is needed. Although this is a different topic than what you have posted about. I could get into the benefits of cloud seeding and how it saved numerous countries from famine/drought. It also helped with the Beijing Olympics. That is weather mod, but nothing to do with OP.
