i was thinking of buying http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131966 and http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819115234. is that a good idea or bad idea? im not tryna spend big here cause im not looking for top of the line just something better than my p4

You should get an 1150 socket cpu and motherboard instead because it is newer.
