DBP (slightly over roundbox, but this could change depending of how roundbox continue his game) Red Blaster over j-rodd based on meta. (I'm willing to believe there's a good chance j-rodd's gift claim is legit because no one else claimed.) |

Going to sleep. Hope I can wake up to a third gift claim so I can really start getting my teeth into this game.

Re: TWG CLVIII: Game Thread - Survivor Valais
I'm aware this game doesn't have 3 wolves and that these reads sucks due to lack of information.

Also, you're referring to an imaginary "attitude" that I supposedly have as "wanting to live instead of find the wolves". I've said this before, but we literally cannot win without finding the wolves. That doesn't even need to be stated. There's a big difference between "refusing to commit suicide for a town that doesn't exist" and "refusing to hunt wolves". TL;DNR: You're getting me totally wrong. My "attitude" is that I want to both liveand find the wolves.

Re: TWG CLVIII: Game Thread - Survivor Valais
Nah, not really.
1. I was thinking tokzic, but he actually seems genuine. My thought was that he'd claimed his gift and pushed for the strat because he knew survivors wouldn't be comfortable outing, so there likely wouldn't be four claims. The few posts he's made since, though, kind of reassured me. So, Sunfan. 2. Idk, tbh. That's why I asked. DBP seemed townish in his brief appearance, and roundbox has been consistently like "IDGAF", so idk. 3. j-rodd, for no reason other than I got a slightly better feeling from Red Blaster, but I wouldn't trust that farther than I could throw a cinder block.

lol only slightly. TWG always demands my maximum mental capacity, which is why it's really surprising to me that people can play it with a "I can't read for shit" mentality.

You drag it out from its cave and beat it with a stone club until it either confesses its sins and begins posting or flips over and reveals the alignment on its belly.

Re: TWG CLVIII: Game Thread - Survivor Valais
I'm getting ready to go to bed, though. I'll check thread occasionally while catching up on some dailies, but may not post again (dependent on how soon I fall asleep) until morning. I'll likely be online for about an hour or so from 2pm-3pm server time, at which time I'll re-evaluate one last time and cast my vote before going to work. I won't be here for EoD 'cause of work, but I'll be in thread after. I'm glad nighttalk is on lol would hate to get modkilled again

I think Tokzic may actually be right about being a wolf here.

Re: TWG CLVIII: Game Thread - Survivor Valais
I don't actually have a gift, I realize now there's no real reason to be altruistic so I won't. I do believe tokzic for now tho so we're chugging along nicely with villa leans today

Re: TWG CLVIII: Game Thread - Survivor Valais
I think shadowolfe is probably my strongest wolf lean at this point but it's weak. Simply b/c I don't have a villa read on him and he made a sort of x/y post about me/red blaster and I tend to find wolves do this more than villagers because you can throw 2 villas there and when one flips villa you have nice leeway to go after the other. Normally I hate reads like that cuz every game is different and normally I like to read an individual's actions because there is no "stock wolf mindset" but meh

Re: TWG CLVIII: Game Thread - Survivor Valais
Oh and I think wineandbread was slightly villagery too. Not wanting to claim survivor was a bit weird in the context of the thread, but it seemed like he believed his reasons and it's kind of too wolfy to be a wolf in a way
