Re: Keyboardsmash Phase I: Legacy Submissions Open
at some point this week, probably in the evening, I will get caught up on new files. I have everything downloaded, I just haven't opened up SM to look at stuff.
for the record, I started a full-time job last week, so I don't have much free-time anymore—I'm also juggling three motherfucking jobs, so hold your panties tight.

Re: Keyboardsmash Phase I: Legacy Submissions Open
While I enjoy your files I question if another rap song will have replayability

Re: Keyboardsmash Phase I: Legacy Submissions Open
Alright I just finished my big ass math test so I actually have nothing I need to worry about for a while. Playing shit TONIGHT
Double Monk: Just doesn't seem like an enjoyable and replayable file to me. nope Enfoire une fois, enfoires duex fois: There isn't too much wrong with the chart. You're doing your best to do what the music allows, it just isn't a very interesting file. Mostly because of song choice Rejceted Gaijin Shawty: This isn't a bad file for something on the easier side. I think the patterns are pretty generic and copy pasted though. I'd like to see some more variation in that regard. Also try to tone down some holds. I understand why most of them are there but the chart seems cluttered with so many Pending Ham Jam: Holy fuck this file was fun. I really like this. I've got nothing. Accepted Seventeen: I think whenever the louder quarter notes that happen every two beats at m25 could be hands, to bring out the dynamics of the music in that area. Otherwise, I don't see anything really wrong with the chart. It's just somewhat of a boring song, and since that is the case, I would like to see the hands at some spots. Pending Space Travel: At the very beginning and the very end of the song you put notes to an underlying melody. That feels so weird but it might just be me. I would have put notes to the more obviously heard music. Otherwise, it is a good file. There could be some filler notes placed in areas where there are some "gallops" to make the chart feel like it flows better. Accepted We Luv Lama: We already have a jumpstream version of this song in Nuclear Blast 4. This is pretty similar to that, aside from some more intense jumpstream in the first half of the song Rejected Truthful Legend: The only problem I see with it is that I would want some more layering in some of the streams. It is a pretty good file otherwise. Pending There are my notes up to when I last updated the first post. Time to download some more files and play some more Last edited by Rebirth0; 09-16-2014 at 08:33 PM.. |

Re: Keyboardsmash Phase I: Legacy Submissions Open
I'll trim the holds down. Anyhow, I am already making fixes to Ham Jam. (for quite some time now actually) Might step something from Blueshift.

Re: Keyboardsmash Phase I: Legacy Submissions Open
Oh god I haven't even thought about graphics. I guess partly because we aren't at any point where we NEED them.
The list for accepted files is in the first page of course. List some titles that interest you and I can send the files. |

Re: Keyboardsmash Phase I: Legacy Submissions Open
Almost done cleaning up some of the lengths of the holds for Ham Jam. I'm curious to as how people find the roll freezes that I put into the files. I guess aesthetically it adds a nice touch and moderates the difficulty a bit but I guess that I could make another chart that doesn't have the roll freezes if you guys want.

Re: Keyboardsmash Phase I: Legacy Submissions Open
Aesthetically it looks nice yes, and I don't seem to be having any issues with the SM3.95 thing. I'm still skeptical of including anything that could break SM3.9/95. For now we're good.
