I've only played on ION's once and it was to set it up for the boss at my moms work since I'm the only one who's played RB before. The ION's were awkward to me, bounces better but still not as well as a real drumset. But that's my opinion.

Yeah as far as electric kits go mesh-heads are superior but they're still nice for what I could afford. I like the cymbals and do you mean for pro drums or to combine with the RB3 cymbals?

It'll be a 300km round trip though haha, 140 there 140 back (give or take depending on where he lives in the city). so it'll cost me 30 bucks in gas, still worth it for 180 bucks? what are they new 299?

i'm into RB3 now, but i used to be really good at RB2. Was one of the top vocalists. FC'd every song, have several 1st place scores

I meant for Pro Drums because I thought I saw Azurite say they didn't but I must have been mistaken, my bad.

How's the durability on ions? Because my first GoodWoods lasted about a year until I broke through the mesh on one of the pads completely, which is about 10 dollars to replace, without tax. I honestly think GWMs are a better deal than ions but again I really don't know much about ions.

I like goodwoods but I wanted the set, I enjoy the mesh drums better generally. Still breaking in the ions but they're cool so far.

I quite enjoy the world tour set when playing rock band. It was my main set when I used my Roland TD3 kick pedal and trigger, then when I sold the TD3 I used the normal pedal and I love the pads more on the GHWT set. Since they're more garbage than rock band sets the sensor's pop off easily and my blue pad broke... again...
