Bought a CM QuickFire with blue switches a few days ago and playing Stepmania has never been better. The keytaps are pure eargasms and they feel really responsive and the resistance is just what I wanted. Add to this I mostly play MA stuff, jacks and dumps ain't my thing.

Edit: However the neighbour below me just started knocking through the ceiling/floor in the middle of the night while I was playing. Never happened before in 4 years of living here.

I'm going to get a QPAD.
What are the differences among mk-50, mk-80, and mk-85?
Looks like my choice would be either brown or red. Not sure which one would fit me best.

From what Alex told me, red switches will decrease your stamina but it will make you an absolute speed demon for the Qpad Mk-50. I'm getting the same keyboard as him as well.
