What now?
Ive been playing FFR for about ~1 weeks now (i made this account like 2 years ago and just remembered it), and im on very diffucult songs. I can FC most of them easily, but i cant beat challenge songs easily. Should i keep practicing very difficult or keep trying challenging songs.
BTW on the setlist, very diffucult is an (8) and challenge is a (9) |

Re: What now?
Well, I don't know about jumping into masters just yet, for you won't be able to read what to hit, I say practice a song that is too hard for you to fc, but just barely; so in that instance try some of the VD's in the dance2 category then work your way down to some of the first challengings you see. Brightone is a good practice song I'd think for your skill level. Good luck!

Re: What now?
I find working backwards helps. If you sit down for a day or two and play nothing but 11's and 12's, and work on Pa'ing and combo'ing those, then go back to play the lower levels, helps a bit. Thats just me though.

Re: What now?
Btw, when i said "Thats a great idea! thanks!" i was being sarcastic, because she (or he, more likely) posts in all my threads with the stupidest suggestions, probably just to raise his post count. BTW, thanks for the suggestions, im gonna try some low Dance2 songs.

Re: What now?
I make too many threads, says the person with 400+ posts. BTW, i said i have trouble passing 9 songs, so don't tell me to go play 11s and expect me to actually be able to pass them. Im asking for advice, not some asshole to tell me to play songs that are much more difficult than i can play.

I agree with playing 11s but at the same time you need to play the levels in between. Usually what I do is set the lower limit for the random to what I can do normally and set 2 levels higher and just play random songs for about an hour. Seems to help me.

Re: What now?
if you're looking to be able to easily fc C's then play tons of C files
i've been told that in order to improve, play files that you struggle on the most

Re: What now?
That's true. You need to play songs that are hard for you to play to even think of getting better.

Re: What now?
Ya know, don't just straight up whore 11's. It won't do you any good if you don't know what patterns you're up against. Do what you were doing, play songs lower than you're capable of and build some PA. then tackle the bigger stuff. You just work at it, and above all else, keep your goals high, and aim to beat them. oh and practice

Re: What now?
Don't necessarily play 11's. It's ridiculous. Start with some low 10's to 9's and you'll be doing better soon.
