I'm so happy for you Xiz!!! ^_^ A first sunrise seems like such a special moment. I'm soooo happy for you

Technology truly amazes me sometimes. When I think about all the science and research that must've gone into something like this, and it will make so many people's lives better. makes me feel good about humanity

Congratz! Now it's easier for you to read those Picasso style colour theory files in FIFFER :D

So you obviously recommend these I take it... I really need a pair. Especially being in the graphics and colour industry, being only able to interpret the technical end of things and to not actually see what I'm doing is quite a bummer. I would love to be able to look around and see green and purple genuinely, or any colour for that matter-- I feel like there is a desaturation in pretty well every undertone the spectrum has.

Glad these gave you a great experience!

ayeeee
another blind bro!
yea i got the CX-25 Hawk about 2 months ago, very happy with them
I was gonna send them back to get the CX-65 since i'm inside alot but I just didn't wanna go outside without my glasses anymore. So I kept them and decided to wait till I could buy the CX-65 later.
Though I will say... They don't introduce any NEW colours, only enhances them; but man does it do it well(you know, you got em!)

cheers to our new found vision!

edit: @ spenner
I know we talked about this a bit before...
the effect does vary, which is why i'm a bit hesitant to say "go get this asap"
I personally found them to be very subtle at first until i went for a drive.
but if you got the money, why the hell not ya know?
Go get them magic colour glasses man!

If I need to dazzle myself with colours that aren't there I can pop my diffraction glasses over em 8-) good to know though... my benefits may cover a portion of the cost which would be a reason to jump on the ball with it.

Should note: to say they're suitable for color work would be dubious at best. In principle, maybe.

In practice we cheated colorblindness really damn hard and nobody really knows how hard.

They should improve your sense nonetheless (assuming they work well for you).

Thankfully if anything it'll allow me to see actual levels of contrast between a target section of an image and a working image, but if I can't do it by eye we have fancy measuring devices and other people that have better eyes -SHRUG- but I'd like to be independent.

I might actually walk outside more because it won't look like a wasteland of grey stuff

I'll reserve my complete judgement until after I give em a go

@Spenner

It's a case by case basis. It works for some, not for others. They have a good return policy so you might as well try it.

@Frank

Yeah, I can't decide if I wanna try the indoor ones. They apparently don't work with protans that well so idk
