I really hate D4 starter! i can't even get out of the 50 ranks! iused to be so close to getting FMO AAA's before I took a break, (do to no computer) and now i suck balls! 36-0-0-1 currently, but mabye the other person is right... good/bad days. but i'm pretty confident im gonna ahve to whore ever day/night till tuesday to stay in :S moral support people? :0

You know it kind of sucks when you used to be able to AAA some 10's and now you can't even do 9's. I guess fall silently was moved up to a 10 at some point, and that makes me feel somewhat better, but I can't do good on the other 9's either so .

Yeah I had trouble with those parts for quite a while, I kinda get lost in the sequence sometimes and forget what I'm doing. What I've been doing is hitting the jumps harder than the other notes so I have a better sense of where I am. I've also been playing gym leader rby a lot cause it has the same sort of thing about halfway in with eight notes going down right and then up repeatedly, it's not as hard but since I can't handle fall silently I figured my training for those parts should be easier >.<. Hope that helps.

Honestly I'm surprised that their are more AAA's on the D5 song than D4 one. The D4 one is really, really tricky, but once you get figure out the tricky parts, they are spaced out enough to deal with. This is in no way undermining the difficulty of the song, but it's not like a constant bombardment of wreckage, though the change in the 12th anchors are icky. The D5 song however seems way above that level, the density of that ending stream makes it so easy to pull good I don't know how it has so many AAA's. It's harder for me to be consistent in that song then Rapids.

Also, I hope a BF can pull me through, I know I can AAA, but I keep pulling a good somewhere different each run. It's either in the jumpstream cluster **** or it's at a really, REALLY easy part. It's getting absurdly frustrating.

Then play D3-6's songs for practice in the meantime. That ought to make sure you don't get lazy over the week.

I do! But its not the same when your place in the tournament is compromised! You skill up much faster!

You could pretend as if you were in D3-6 and try to get a score above the elimination line (although this might be a [sarcasm]little[/sarcasm] harder for D4 and higher.) The most important thing however, is to keep practicing.

Got a pretty good skillboost, but not the kind of skillboost i would've liked. Got a huge improvement in my reading skills and got a LOT better at stepmania for whatever reason >.>
Didn't improve my accuracy at FFR at all though, only in SM. So damn random...

Going back to the last page, an MP tournament sounds god awful.
There are so many factors that would make it crap, the main one being every loser would claim "BS Im just lagging today" and insults like "You just got lucky runs"
