I bet most of the game can be partially solved just by looking at how players interact around my alignment.

I've been kept alive on purpose so far, but it's not really moving the game as planned.

At least, that's how I see it.

I think I just want a good lynch today to feel better about the game because I'm pretty sure we're 0/2 on them so far

Charu *could* be fake but I don't think Charu has ever won a game off the back of a fakeclaim, which is kind of surprising to type out but I think that's true so this wouldn't really fit

with wv its more of the kinds of questions he's been asking; I do legitimately believe that he has a role based on how he went about it, so I think he's town for that. I think that this claim only comes from a wolf!wv if exactly Manti is on the wolfteam with wv.

so, outside of that

Haku seems ok for some things that he's done that I... don't /think/ were faked, like him saying that he's never asked for a PR when no one asked and for one other one that I don't remember right now. I can always be wrong on Haku. I think his thoughts are jumbled enough to be pretty town!Haku, and I don't quite feel like he's been trying to push anything as a result of his thoughts but maybe I'm wrong here

roundbox I can definitely be wrong on, but he voted lar when it came down to it, he parried my accusation on Manti well, and voted Lar over fg, and I think it would make no sense for him as town to vote for fg. Again, I can be wrong, but I think I am mostly ok with him here.

DBP is still the same amount of good based on meta. I don't really think I can shake this read unfortunately. If he is wolfing, I don't see my opinion changing on him anytime soon.

inD, I still like for mostly the same reasons. I don't feel like he is pushing a scum agenda. The neee kill is, I think, a little bit of a hangup, and surprisingly, I suppose I could be wrong here. I just don't think so.

so that leaves Manti, Lar, raeko

I kind of don't like that I'm ending up with the same bottom 3 or so, but it is what I have here. I think the worst that I could possibly be playing is only being 1/3 on these three, though, with something like inD, roundbox, [one of the above three] so I think I'm... ok.

Manti, I think it just kind of feels like he's wolfin' more than anything else. I have to firstly admit that I've never seen him have a reaction like that, as a wolf or as town or as anything, to when Charu said what he said. I think it is possible for him to have that response regardless of alignment, and here's why.

Manti and Charu have a little bit of history. A very, very small bit. This is not me using weak language as I often do, its really just a tiny, little bit. Charu has felt singled out for how he formats his postgames (Manti has said that he doesn't like something about how Charu does it, I don't remember what), and Manti sometimes feels like playing with Charu, and I roughly quote "Gives [Manti] flashbacks to 'Nam."

What I don't mean to say here is that they don't like one another. Please do not mistake that for what I am saying. What I am saying is that they can get under one another's skin sometimes. So, when Charu said that he hopes Manti does something later, I can see Manti being particularly annoyed.

Manti is a prideful man. Its what makes good TWG players. I can see Manti taking what Charu said as an affront to his ability to put in a good TWG posting game. Coupled with the fact that I think Manti thinks that some players, Charu and certainly myself included, make too many posts for the game of TWG to be played well. I think that this could all lead him to have that reaction as a wolf.

I would normally not be on this level of thought, but this game is really, really fucking hard for me. Life heard me talking about how complacent I was with my townreads yesterday, and you know what happens from then on.

As an aside, regardless of all else, this definitively means that Charu and Manti can never be wolves together or it would legitimately blow my mind.

The reason I post all of this is because I think that it feels like Manti is a wolf, especially with leaving Charu alive. I posted earlier that I felt like I could hear Manti saying "If we leave Charu alive, townies will get paranoid. They always get paranoid." I don't really have an explanation for Charu being alive still, especially over neee(?) last night (not to say neee wouldn't be a threat to the wolves because he almost always is as a townie etc etc).

This is probably more than I meant to type out on Manti, but there's a few more small things. I think its not good for Manti to be evaluating funny as a wolf. I know he often believes strongly in his reads, as he should, but based on how that wagon developed, and based on how funny was playing, I don't think I can evaluate funny as a wolf, and I don't like that Manti is doing so.

I don't have a lack of reasons to believe that Manti could be town. I still do think that his invocation of syhto's name was townie. I just think it kind of fit in with what I /think/ was a role-neutral response.

I don't like the way that Manti put roundbox off to the side either. I don't think he does that as town past d0.

I will fully admit that this is a complicated read and I do sincerely believe that, more often than not, reads that are very complicated are incredibly unlikely to be right for the right reasons.

In very, very brief terms, it just feels like Manti is wolfing because I have no other explanation for Charu being alive as town.

Raeko would not be playing this way as town. I don;t think I can get off of that. She's always at least somewhat detached specifically on forum but here, its just, to use a term from when I last scumread Xiz correctly, too goofy to be town. She also responds to me differently, and that's all I'll say there.

Lar is in an awkward spot similar to Manti. And I'll preface this by saying I don't want Lar to be scum, which is beyond a dangerous thought. I think that Lar is playing differently, and I want him to be playing differently as town. I think there's a couple things that hold me back, namely, the lack of a serious reaction during or after he nearly was lynched last day phase. I also think that Lar and raeko make a good team together given that raeko backed up Lar and Lar hasn't behaved towards raeko in the way that I would expect him to, specifically in a game without cardflips.

I think I can be wrong on roundbox. I think Manti could be town, and he is the towniest of the three in my bottom three. I have a /chance/ of being wrong on inD and the slimmest chance of being wrong on DBP. Haku is always a wildcard. I want Lar to be town.

I'm not wrong anywhere else, I don't think.

I can answer the one on Lar: his townread of haku comes from a similar place as mine, but he's taking a defense to him to a pretty high degree. his manti read is also pretty similar to mine, but he's giving him a pass on "gut n meta"
him vying after raeko just felt like his autopilot strategy for "who do I lynch here" because he seems to do it every game
him not taking the plunge on you sunfan is a bit interesting granted there were votes stacking up on you and he spent most of the day looking at you. he never really advocated too much for everyone else to get on the raeko lynch ("I'm becoming increasingly ok with a raeko lynch" being his highest call on it), so that combination kinda rubbed me the wrong way

I will say I did not expect 3 people to jump on the lar wagon shortly after I placed my vote

I've yet to read his responses to things today (or really anything in the night/start of this day) so idk how he's responded to being on the chopping block

I'm actually about to go to sleep, I've been grading pretty much all day
I'll be done at like 1 PM tomorrow I think, so I'm gonna hop back into the thread then

I really, really needed a break this game and I think I'll be able to walk in tomorrow afternoon with a more clear head
