Re: I have a job interview in the morning
I was one of the only people working at my job that did not have to have an interview.
My sister used to work their, the manager basically looked at my name and hired me. It was awesome. Too bad I only get paid 6.15$ an hour. |

Re: I have a job interview in the morning
That's good because I made a really lame Coupling reference.
I also like that playing video games isn't on the list.

Ya that should probably be up there as well. I wasn't thinking very much to be honest.

Re: I have a job interview in the morning
I'm not too downhearted so no worries, I still have my other job guaranteed for October, but this would have filled in the next 3 months perfectly.

Re: I have a job interview in the morning
Did it say,
"Dear John, You're hired!" If not, then boo. EDIT: If it makes you feel any better, I just submitted a short story for publication - it's non-fiction, but I called it fiction and changed my character's name to Richard. And then someone else acknowledges me as "Michael" at one point and my character nods in response. Real cool, Mal. Real cool. What's cooler than being cool? Pouring over this thing three times and not CATCHING THAT GODDAMNED MISTAKE ARGH.

Re: I have a job interview in the morning
Dear John letters should be illegal. I'm not old enough to apply for a job yet (Only 41 days) And i have an almost garunteed job at a skating rink, they all know me well for i'm a constant rule breaker in terms of speed.

Re: I have a job interview in the morning
Wow, that sucks. Are you looking for another temporary job, or are you just going to hang tight until October?

Re: I have a job interview in the morning
I don't like my current job anyway so I'm looking for anything really. I only went for that because it filled in the 3 month gap perfectly.
Preferably I'll just search for permanent jobs again, try to find something before October, if not just go back to my old job until I can find a new one. |

Re: I have a job interview in the morning
Not really, but I'm working with what qualifications and experience I have in order to get a better paying job that sucks slightly less than my current job.
I can work from there until I finally figure out what I want to work as because I still don't know. |

Yea, hard to make a career choice eh? Don't like the job you had that starts back up in October?

Re: I have a job interview in the morning
Don't believe that I think highly of myself when I say this, but the job is below me. I can do it with my eyes closed and as such I get easily bored. I want a job that's varied and at least a little challenging to keep me enjoying the job for more than 6 months.
Also, ya, careers are fun. I spent years 13-16 working to eventually become a lawyer, spent years 17-18 being pressured to continue even though I started to have doubts, then quit university after 2 weeks because I hated it. So ya, I've been lost since then. |
