[Suggestion] Reinstate the Change Log
It doesn't take much to realize users seem to be under the impression little gets done and that the staff aren't too open and/or transparent about what they're doing, what's been done and what's planned for the future.
It seems as though the staff are genuinely making an effort to mitigate this but their efforts are falling short somehow. Remembering back not to long ago before the front page and accessible features were streamlined to be less confusing for new players and more appealing for older ones; we had a Change Log. And still do actually: http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/changelog/ Though it's no longer being updated it gave great insight into what progress the site was making and left users with less of a "in the dark" feeling. My proposal is to have it reinstated and/or revamped to include upcoming projects (which link to their respective threads) and batch progress. Just a thought. Opinions? |

Re: [Suggestion] Reinstate the Change Log
I agree completely and have brought this up around five times recently, including even the most recent "What's Happening in Here" thread.
It's an easy way to keep everyone up to date on the projects, etc. Hopefully your thread will get somewhere with this request as my posts don't seem to do any good on the matter.

Re: [Suggestion] Reinstate the Change Log
Catching up on updates and content release since October 2014 is something that could be done manually in a few days. However, if the changelog is being bought back, would anyone be interested in a recent news log where everyone is welcome to add site updates, artists permission gets, and other activity within the community? If so, I can explore the possibility of implementing the Wiki news directly on FFR using Wikia API!

Re: [Suggestion] Reinstate the Change Log
I agree with that Prawnskunk. I believe a newslog would be a welcome addition to the site.

Re: [Suggestion] Reinstate the Change Log
Was gonna say it could be temporarily fixed by just updating what does come out now, and a more permanent fix would be perhaps working with noname to fill the holes in the changelog that were missed, but I like PrawnSkunk's suggestion the most.

Re: [Suggestion] Reinstate the Change Log
I think that both are good ideas, but just as a side thought is the Wiki a good place to keep changes to the engine etc logged, as the changelog was? If it is, then by all means go for it imo.
