Question about website being down

What work was done, exactly? I heard that it was just a domain shift, but anything besides that?

I figured there would be a news post that would explain, though I also checked the site change log link from the home page -- nothing.

Considering that a LOT of things are broken at the moment I'm not sure what to think. Seems like somebody messed up.

I can access the site on mobile but my home computer cannot identify the server.
I thought maybe that would be relevant.

Somebody who knows more than me about server migration might explain what's going on, but from what I've read, some parts can be corrupted by the move and one of the steps is to enable automated jobs back.

When I clicked on the Top 1,000 Overall Rank list, none of the buttons work to view any ranks higher than 100.

*edit* Also, the bragging rights score generator isn't visible for me. D:

They weren't moving anything, this is actually a result of Engler's challenge fiasco

It's in TGB in Legendary Threads, if you haven't applied for a TGB card you can't see it

anyway is there an actual reason the site was down? I'm curious. Why would the server need moving? Is that the actual reason?
