Everybody needs a friend in this strange place.
So says the antisocial adult.
---------- I suppose, i'm getting used to the layout and whatnot. I'm also beginning to get a little better. (playing standard songs - shame on me) I find myself preferring Resonance more than anything. ---------- What a horrid introduction. And yes, I called you all strange. Which is strange coming from me, for I am strange as well. I think I might get used to this. Last edited by ♥Kiala♥; 04-9-2008 at 03:04 PM.. |

Welcome to the minority. You're old. Like me.
For shame preferring Resonance over FFR R1.

Re: Everybody needs a friend in this strange place.
I'd apologize. But hey, where else can I play Dotobata Angel Loop to my heart's content?

I'd rather see someone prefer resonance to R1, than just rip all kinds of files from the database and play them offline on stepmania.

Yes, I must admit that Resonance is quite addicting. Failing -insert song here- has always been my dream.

Concurred.
Once I finally FC something, then I can say i'm halfway decent. I don't know how to work Stepmania. Too much effort.

Re: Everybody needs a friend in this strange place.
Welcome! Once they fix the BPM changes and stops to work in Resonance, and files are synced, I might prefer it over R1.
Anyways, you can try my simfiles as well. They are beginner friendly.

Re: Everybody needs a friend in this strange place.
Hi, welcome to FFR. I'm not quite as old as you are but I still rank with the adults, except I'm not so antisocial. Well, here, it's quite easy to be social anyway.
Stepmania isn't so much trouble to work, but it does take more effort on your part than FFR, whose usability is essentially built-in. If you ever want to give it a shot though, there are plenty of people here who can offer some help, including myself. Well, have fun. |

Understood, overcoming my shyness is a bit hard to do, but I guess i'm starting to get a little better at it.

Welcome to FFR. It looks like you don't have a profile because of the hearts in your username... =/
To be honest, though, Resonance is kind of bad, since every file is thrown way offbeat and the quality of most files is terribly low. If you don't mind, though, go ahead; I'm not stopping you from playing Resonance though. |

Hm...I don't have a profile? Oh, well, I guess it doesn't matter?
I think people like me. At least, they like making fun of me.

Re: Everybody needs a friend in this strange place.
Yeah, I think you're aware at this point, but the non-alphanumeric characters in your name (the hearts) give the Flash system some trouble.
Since your account is still relatively new, and I'll venture to say you haven't done anything incredibly amazing on it, maybe you want to make another account so that you can utilize your profile, Profile Chat, MultiPlayer, and Video Chat? It's up to you, of course. I'm just making a suggestion. |

What in the heck.
I've been a member of FFR for like 4 and a half years now and had no idea there were this many people over the age of 14, let along 20. This is highly awesome. We should make an old fogies group or something.

Some advice- Avoid the forums like the plague. Take it from me, though.
