Re: Let's talk Myers Briggs personality types!
No time to do the test, but I'm a solid INTJ, with the exception of N/S, which is pretty borderline

Re: Let's talk Myers Briggs personality types!
I never liked the Myers-Briggs because I never quite agreed with any of the general labels I got stuck with. I think a few of these need some kind of middle-ground or something.
Anyways, my results: INTJ -> Introvert(78%) iNtuitive(38%) Thinking(50%) Judging(22%) I don't think I am an INTJ simply because I'd consider myself to be at least somewhat in-tune with the emotional/intuitive side of things. It's real easy to hit INTJ if you're a stone-cold logic-robot, which I don't think is a label that fits me all that well. Last edited by Reincarnate; 08-20-2013 at 06:44 PM.. |

Re: Let's talk Myers Briggs personality types!
ENTP at 31-62-12-44. This late morning I was ENTJ with J at a seemingly identical percentage. If you'd tell me, I'd describe myself as a pretty neutral character.
From what I've saw during the test, there's a certain redundancy between answers scattered through the quizz which I'm sure are there to moderate the gaps between certain "choice" patterns and depict a tendency for everyone. Things like: "You are inclined to rely more on improvisation than on prior planning", then a few questions after: "You usually plan your actions in advance" and then again "Your decisions are based more on the feelings of a moment than on the thorough planning" That's three questions down the road which the results can be grouped and can amount to a huge boost towards one parameter. I knew about the MBTI theory when we approached psychology, and I've always respected the theory for how it could be developed. But there are far better methods for analysis (or even far better questionnaires). |

Re: Let's talk Myers Briggs personality types!
Why do I get the feeling the whole way this test is made tends to naturally skew the results towards INTJ? lol

Many of these questions are abstract, which could lead to different answers when considering different contexts. I definitely think this test could be improved. True that. |

Took this about 5 years ago. Was an ISTJ back then. Weird.
