Default Recording gameplay?

I'm trying to record FFR with fraps, but even with my godly processor it just lags up the game when i play and record. So I want to ask, what do YOU use to record your ffr game? Is there a program that records both audio and sound? Let me know, because I want to put up gameplay videos on my account.

Just remember EXACTLY what that run looked like and then make one of those flip comics and then make and send a copy to everyone who wants to see the "video".

well i guess if u have a camera that would work the best... if you can find a nice steady place to set it...
I use unregistered hypercam 2
i just dont have a microphone so u cant hear anything...
but it seems to work decently well...
the videos arent the best looking but... it does what i want it to do
and my camera eats batteries... like 3 minutes and i have to replace them... D:
so its the only thing i got

Have you tried E.M. Free Game Capture for recording?
I think this program is better than FRAPS. You can get the program from Free Game Capture

I'm gonna take a look at that program. Also--welcome to the forums, haha.

EDIT: Not too bad of a program, framerate wasn't terrible, even for me and my older computer. However, the thing that took me away from liking it more was that I couldn't open the .avi files anywhere except the video player that was also installed with the program. =/

The default output avi is huffyuv avi which can be decoded by ffdshow.
And you can set the output format to WMV which can be played by Windows Media Player.
