Tool Academy
Did anyone see this show last night? It's new and on VH1 Sunday nights at 10:00pm EST. The first episode was last night and I came close to crying laughing at these guys.
The concept of the show is there are 9 guys that are put into this school to improve their relationship with their girlfriends because they are total tools. Every single one of them is a huge clubber, and they are all pretty jacked. All of them are completely full of themselves and they don't even realize how retarded they are. It's a pretty hilarious show, I recommend everyone should watch this show, and I usually HATE everything that's on MTV/VH1.

Re: Tool Academy
Watched a commercial of it. Wasn't interested, and the idea of turning clubbers into gentlemen is just another fill for another reality TV show series.

Watched it. It's pretty ****ed up. The guys treat the girlfriends like **** and they're just not smart at all. Just watching the trailer made me laugh and feel bad for the girls x(

Re: Tool Academy
Sick part is that many, many girls have no problem going for idiots who treat them like crap. Luckily, these girls are also the ones you don't want to go for.

Re: Tool Academy
The 1st episode started out pretty classic.
One of the Tools talked about how he has his girlfriend trained and she actually ended up seeing the video. That was very cringe worthy. You guys will love Tiny Tool. He said his priorities are bowling, clubbing and then his girlfriend. hahah Bowling? Really? When someone gets eliminated they "You are not Mr. Awesome. I'm sorry, your just a tool!" |

I watched this for about 5 minutes and said, "Hey look! It's charm school but with guys!" then proceeded to turn it off. Maybe I'll watch it again when I'm a little bit more bored.

Re: Tool Academy
I don't know if I'd call it another Charm school. Charm school is like teach you manners. This is more like rehabilitate your boyfriend/ save our relationship type of show. They have couples therapy and it was showing all the mean stuff the boyfriends said behind their backs. The Tools are pretty damn crazy.

Re: Tool Academy
Yeah, but at the same time, Charm School was "take some b***** girls and turn them into something a little less trash." This is "take some real a**hole guys and make them into something women want." They seem pretty much the same concept, just different people/genders.

Good point I guess refinement is the main point. However the part that is strange is the "make these men into something women want part." These women picked and liked the Tools as they are with the exception of the tools relationship skills. So if these if these guys became to refined would the girls still like them. Plus I think some of the women liked these men in the first place because they couldn't control them. So that's the interesting dynamic there for me, the whole couple dynamic. |
