Re: FFR Shirt design submission thread.
dont they do practically the same thing for like, sports jerseys on little league teams? again, it was just a small suggestion, i have no idea how much it would cost. but if it would be too much, then oh well.

the font though lmao why would you have it be so big? the font is fine but having it just be a single line like in the rough i did would be preferred.

Like get x amount of GT between x-x dates. That way at least everyone who wants to be on it has an equal shot and you don't end up using the somewhat outdated ranking system (i.e. retired, inactive, alts etc) Quote:

Re: FFR Shirt design submission thread.
cool the arrows look centered now just shift them up so that theyre where they were before in terms of height.
the text isnt centered and its still too large. getting there though!

Re: FFR Shirt design submission thread.
If you were to do an X rank t-shirt, would you have like a week notice to inform people if say it was top 500, to get within top 500?

Re: FFR Shirt design submission thread.
I would love a shirt where there aren't arrows on it, but rather hinting to something that does with the website.
Would love a t-shirt that has the Synth's prayer from the Original Post of The AAAdvent Calendar on the front, and then the FFR logo on the back. Our SYNTH, who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy Name. Thy Server come. Thy Will be done On standalone, as it is in browser. Give us this day our daily arrows. And forgive us our blackflags, As we forgive them that flame against us. And lead us not into sandbagging, But deliver us from drama. For thine is the engine, The receptors, and the arrows, For ever and ever. AAAmen. Last edited by gold stinger; 12-24-2014 at 10:42 PM.. |

Re: FFR Shirt design submission thread.
Most high res design I could find for delta, you may have to play with the color hue if you want that particular red but it's the best I could find for size.
http://i.imgur.com/9tQDwSP.png If you're looking for another noteskin I can help look for a few others too. I personally like the idea of the regular FFR noteskin, but it wouldn't stop me from buying a shirt if it had another. I'll see what I can find for quality for FFR arrows too. highest quality/largest images I could find of FFR noteskin: http://imgur.com/ecV0YNv,pVVx4oc

Re: FFR Shirt design submission thread.
Idk that doesn't seem like a very good shirt design lol. Have too much text on a shirt and it loses its appeal. Also having -just- text on a short like that is kind of bad. Maybe have a lot more text on the shirt and then do some ASCII art with colored letters so from far away it looks like the FFR logo but up close it says whatever. That'd be cool

I hate shirts with text on them at all, and if you NEED to have text, for fuck's sake don't put a whole paragraph of shit on there. The last FFR-tshirt (dorkshork's) was so great because it was all just a stylized logo, no text at all. In particular I am liking the noteskins idea for the arrows- if we can get more HQ images of the various FFR noteskins that would be great, I have a little variation on this carlos's idea that I can post tomorrow or something.

Re: FFR Shirt design submission thread.
tbh the avi ruins this one for me. But I do like how you did this. I'd buy the shit out of this for shits and giggles if it had the avi gone. /preferences
I will say Carlos' design idea is pretty top notch. For me it really depends how it's done and what it is. Having the ffr prayer thing would be hilarious. Granted, it's a little wordy and some selective people won't appreciate the joke. But having "timing is everything" across the front chest (I don't think this was purposed but just an example) would probably bother the living shit out of me. Mostly because it'd have multiple implications. I don't think people would get the reference as intended. Just a side thought though, it might just be me. |
