Getting Rid of Veteran Title
Haven't found my answer in the dozen pages previous to this so I'm gonna ask now since it's kind of a different context.
I'm currently revamping my profile and I'm working my way to get everything hidden, at least get them to appear white at first sight. But there's just one thing I can't get around: When editing your profile, in the left gamer card is located the current group membership you're belonging to. (the one in blue) As of now, mine is showing "Veteran Status" though it seems that it can not be removed in any manner. Browsing through the forums, I believe the only way I could ever do such a thing is through subscription, which I honestly don't feel like spending money on a couple of words. And so, the only other choice I could have is to camouflage the whole thing with the same color, but thing is, every concept I had so far doesn't fit well with the minimalistic style. And yes, I also tried camouflaging the status with other words but this seriously needs a military training. =____= So is there any way I could get rid of it without charge? Or would it be possible to get permission from a mod (if it's even possible...) to delete the whole title? |

I've hidden the block from your profile, though if you ever want to see it again, you'll have to ask me to unhide it, or use this to clear the style:

Feels great to hear this, thanks a lot. Wasn't sure at first if it was best to ask a mod directly. ¨-¨
Oh and I feel so dumb about this but I just cleared the style thinking it wouldn't do anything >_< so if you have time, could you do it again for me? My bad, again. Thanks. |

Re: Getting Rid of Veteran Title
Thanks a lot Actually worked quite a bit to get something meaningful and that would stimulate reflections. I wanted my whole profile to become a simple concept in itself and I believe it's mission accomplished.
And as to yours, I've got to say that it's pretty hypnotizing. @_@ |

Re: Getting Rid of Veteran Title
Seriously agree. Hiding blocks is somethings to be considered, even though it means rewriting the whole coding of the page (i believe). :\ Sometimes in the near future would be great, when somebody would have some time for it.

Re: Getting Rid of Veteran Title
I've recoded the entire profile system already, just a ton of other work needs to be done to finish it.
The way I hid his block was kinda hacky at best, as it uses something only I can edit, since it was mainly for use in my profile. The toggle bar code edits that field, which is why it clears the hidden block effect. |
