Resident Evil 5

I'm slightly surprised that this thread hasn't been made yet. Just got it last night and have to say I'm enjoying myself. The only bad part is trying to find a competent partner via online because your computer controlled AI is an idiot. Anyone else get the game yet or are planning on it? Drop me a message on here if your up for a game on Live.

I bought the collectors edition and am wearing my Africa necklace that came with it xD I love the game already and am having a lot of fun playing with all of my friends that got it as well. Its too bad I play on Ps3 otherwise I would say lets play together.

my roommate and i have been playing RE5 for a bit and it is quite nice. i want to play online just to spam "COME ON" and "WAIT... GO!!!!!!" since its hilarious when one person is shooting all of the zombies and the other person is just standing beside them screaming at them. actually do these things qualify as zombies or what are they exactly?

Isn't this game getting a lot of bad rep because it's "racist"? That's retarded. It specifically says it takes place in Africa, so you're going to find a lot of black people who are zombies.

If you look hard enough, you'll find the occasional white and hispanic looking zombie/mindless drones/what have you.

The devs actually added them in when the whole racist argument started.

I picked up on this when I was playing co-op with my friend...

"Oh...so you're in Africa...killing only Black Zombies?"
"Yes."
"Doesn't that seem slightly racist to you?"
"....No..."
"Well it is."
"Okay, look! For every ten black zombies you kill, look closely...THERE! Look, he's not black at all!"
"Its the same model as that black zombie we killed 10 minutes ago...just with a different texture..."
"No its not, see, this one has a clearly spanish 'stache!"

I think we're on level 6-1. Probably going to beat it tomorrow (normal) and maybe run through it on amateur just for fun and ammo. Also I just reread my post and saw myself saying "probably gunna beat it tomorrow" and laughed really hard.

Just finished out the 3rd chapter. My brother and I started the boss and then he had to go...so killing the boss by myself and dodging for two controllers is a pain in the butt, but I managed some how. I'm already engrossed in the story and am having fun trying to guess at some of the characters in the game, so I won't share here so nothing gets spoiled. Hopefully should finish out chapter 4 and 5 tonight...I hope. Send me a friend invite if your on Live and need a partner that knows what he's doing.
