Re: TWG CLXVIII: Capitalism [Game Thread]
There has been a replacement.
Also be sure to read your PM's EACH PHASE if you get one in the possible event of an acquisition, to prevent possible fuckup.

Am I missing something in the second spoiler or is there nothing at all in it?

Re: TWG CLXVIII: Capitalism [Game Thread]
flex
In the spirit of anonymity I won't describe what happened, but I'll be able to be around more now. I'm catching up on the pages I don't have as fast as I can, here are some thoughts while I read and do a time-relevant activity: I don't have much (any?) experience playing as 3p, can we read off Walmart's pushes? For example they only had so much information, but I think it looks decent for Facebook that Walmart was suggesting a lynch on them. Since the Acquisitioner's prime directive d1 is to live and second is probably to thin down the town, I assume any efforts to go against the flow were either to stave off a lynch or to push town. They also tried to push Toyota, who I'm about to talk about in a minute, and defended Visa. The other thing about Facebook is their refusal to vote, it could have been a serious accountability dodge there but they also could have helped their buddy if they were a wolf. I think such an awkward post is made by a sincere villa most of the time. Since Facebook wasn't very involved last time I was here, it's not surprising they might have felt uncomfortable voting. UPS not self-preserving makes that vote really hard to parse. (Also I don't think my vote was counted?) It looks like Toyota v / UPS w if only because I find it hard to believe nobody tries to save a BPV but I can't be sure because there was a third wagon on Facebook (who was being pushed by 3p) and a lot of people abstained. If people could explain why they abstained that would help me a lot. The other reason I think it was a v/w split is because Toyota's "death manifesto" looks like a real effort to help town in the longterm after their death, rather than just set up a lynch. GE gave me weird vibes, I will have to go find the post. IBM I really have to object to you posting in your handwriting, I physically can't read your posts, maybe keep it to a few words per post. You have nice handwriting but some of us have bad eyes. Also it personally keeps me from feeling the voice in your writing style and I don't like it. |

Re: TWG CLXVIII: Capitalism [Game Thread]
Doing an iso is beyond me at the moment unfortunately, but I'll summarise the GE thing:
Was called out for defending UPS by not wanting them lynched (seemed to have a general policy against lynching wastefully which was shared by a few others, instead wanted them killed via mod or some other method) Then they wanted Toyota lynched, who seems to have exhibited the exact same pattern of behaviour as UPS for most of the day (when there wasn't information on the end of day wagons) Voted Apple for posting a full reads list It seems like really evasive, non-committal behaviour and doesn't add up. |

Re: TWG CLXVIII: Capitalism [Game Thread]
Like, to clarify: that defense was very sustained and extended, although it may have even been more an issue with how others were playing it was so aggressive. And yet when polled they consistently said they wanted to lynch Toyota. I can see one difference between them and that it's Toyota popped up when called.
@GE: Could you explain why you felt voting UPS was wasteful but voting Toyota wasn't? Was there no better vote in your eyes out of the wagons people were willing to vote on? |
