[Concluded] Clasko Hearthstone Cup #5

I'm hosting a bi-monthly tournament, The Clasko Hearthstone Cup - every other Thursday. From what i hear, everyone is sick of ladder. Im looking to generate more interest in hearthstone and encourage friendly competition. Many players have PM'ed me saying they want in, so this is headed in the right direction.

I doing this primary for the FFR community and will not be advertising this anywhere else.

Prize: 7 packs to the winner (paid by me, via paypal)
When: Thursday June 26th @ 8pm cst/servertime.
Check-In: 7-8pm, you are required to contact me in some way.
Players: 4-32, will be adjusted for size.

Format: Standard, Best of 5. Winner of a round must play the same deck. Losing a round means you can not play that class for the remainder of the match. Editing decks is not allowed. Im going to say everyone must use only 3 decks(3 different classes), constructed before the event starts.

Clearing up confusion for the bracket: I will post names to the bracket as players sign up. The name will be WITHOUT a #Number until that person checked in. It saves me trouble of seeing who is here or not. If they do not check in, i will remove them from the bracket.
At the start time, 8 O'Clock Sharp, the bracket will be shuffled and away we go. Easy way to tell if the bracket has been shuffled? If im the number 1 seed then its not shuffled yet.

Cool. Also, how good are people with skill/deckbuilding, for reference? I grinded out like a 10 win streak or so to get to rank 19 for the card backs (since I started early June), but I do average 5-8 wins in arena

Match 1 Miracle Rogue (me) vs Face Hunter (him) was definitely the most interesting match of our set. I won miraculously 1 turn away from lethal only thanks to having strong board position through the early game.

Match 2 Miracle Rogue vs Token Druid was a slow and painful blowout as both Gadgetzans and Leeroy were in my bottom 10 cards. My ending hand was like prep, cold blood, blade flurry with no minions :[.

Match 3 Zoolock vs Token Druid. Got a retarded opener with coin Blood Knight into double knife juggler double Voidwalker. RNGesus felt bad for my last game.

Match 4 Zoolock vs Priest. This was probably the second most interesting game. I had strong board position on a couple occasions but I couldn't deal with his high health minions and double Cabal wrecked my advantage. Ended 5 points from lethal before he stabilized.

Match 5 Midrange Hunter vs Priest. Worst match. I shouldn't have picked this deck. Matchup feels terrible and he had an answer to everything I played. It's been a while since I've busted out the Hunter and it is not what it once was. I wish I had run Face Warrior or maybe Freeze Mage.

GGs to you, dear. Very accurate description. If you had won the 2nd match (which you deserved, in my opinion), you would have won the tournament. Priest simply cannot beat miracle rogue.

I was happy with my matchs against fallen, he actually got a run for his money this time. Most of the matches ended in good series all around.

I would hope to see a few more people for the next one.

I didn't realize there were Hearthstone tournaments being hosted here. I'll likely compete in the next one. My highest rank has only been Rank 1 so far so not sure how much competition I can bring to the table, but it should be fun. Looking forward to the next one!

Fallen.kaede was legend season 1, Emerald had a highest of rank 2, my highest rank was 4.
Fallen has also won 4 of out the last 5 events.

Welcome! We could use some more competition. The sign up thread will be available early next week.
