Default Calling DDream Pros

Me and Razor are working on a collab simfile. He uses DDream, I use Stepmania (3.95).
Our problem we're having is that whenever he sends me the file back with what he's stepped, any progress he made doesn't show up in SM for me. In DDream it does, but not SM for some reason. So this pretty much forces me to use DDream, which I suck with so the file ends up horribly ruined. =/

Well when we collaborated, it worked just fine. You need to get Razor to save it as an .sm file and not the ddream native format, or it won't work.

Everytime you make changes to the .sm outside of the editor itself, you need to reload it into SM as the file saves into SM's cache and doesn't update or overwrite the data that exists. For 3.95, you'll have to go into the options menu and reload.

File changes should then show up. Also, deleting the .old files in the song folder itself should help if you're still having trouble with this.

I didnt like DDream at first either, seemed too complicated. But when you learn to use it, trust me you will never ever go back to SM editer xD.

He does. That's the weird thing.

Thanks, trying this now.
