Well after nearly two months of grinding the tournament is finally over. Congratulations to our winner poulice and to the all the other keysmashers that made this a fun event to host. While it wasn't without its faults, I think this tournament was still a successful one that can hopefully see a rise in bracket tournies on FFR.

The qualifier round starts NOW! This is to determine who will be getting byes. A bye allows you to automatically move on to the second round without having to directly compete (it's a really good thing!) Twenty-Two byes will be given out after the qualifier.

Simply play the song assigned to your division and submit your scores to the thread. The top twenty-two closest scores to their song's percentage of raw score will get a bye.

You have until March 27th, at 8 PM server time to submit! You will not be penalized this round for posting a poopy score or not submitting at all. Good luck.

[center]This bracket tourney is here to shake things up in FFR.
There hasn't been any bracket tournaments, and while it goes against the standard tournament format, it'll be great for the community to try something new that doesn't revolve around the normal tournament structure everyone has been accustomed to.



Registration:
Pretty simple here, just post in the thread you're interested in participating in the tournament. You will be placed in a"division" based on your skill rating to decide what song you will play during that round. (Note: If anyone is unhappy with their placement, you may PM either mrpreggers or myself (Deadlyx39) to make your case to be moved up or down.)




Format:
- Double Elimination

- Since this is a bracket tournament, you will be facing people with varying levels of skill.

- The purpose of using the skill rating is to assign each "Division" with a song to play against their opponent. This way, a player from D1 has as much of a chance of winning as a D7. This is made possible, as each player will have a different song based off of their skill level to play.

- The tournament will be dependent on how many people sign up, as a bracket will be made after the sign-up period closes.

- SIGN UPS WILL BE UP UNTIL MARCH 23RD AT 10 PM SERVER TIME. THE TOURNAMENT WILL THEN START ON MARCH 27th.

- The tournament will be around 6 rounds (Pending participation), with each round lasting (3) days.



Rules:
No Cheating. Double setup, bots, alts all not allowed here. Basically don't be an ass. You must also meet the requirements needed to even have a skill rating to be placed in the tournament. (250 Games Played on 50 Unique Songs)

Seeding is going to be randomized, as division placement doesn't matter here.
