Eden of the East is one of those polarizing shows. Depending on how deeply you look at the show, you'll probably either love it, or hate it. Personally i thought the plot had more holes than swiss cheese, but i still enjoyed it for what it was worth so i guess I'd probably be somewhere in the middle.

I'd probably watch Fairy Tail if i got into it back in the day, I have trouble starting long running shounens because I've found most of them to ultimately be decent at best and just a large time sink considering the amount of shorter shows of higher average quality that are out there. The only 2 Long Running shounens I've legitimately liked are Gintama and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (If that counts). I watched all of Bleach and i thought it was a solid show until the end of the soul society arc then it just took a giant shit on itself.

Hunter x Hunter (2011) Looks like it would be a fairly solid shounen. I like darker themed shows, and pretty much everyone i know who watches it, loves it.

Hunter x hunter is a really good show actually. I didn't think I would like it but it's actually surprisingly really good.

What makes fairy tail so much fun is that you can pick it up and put it down without missing much

I freaking love the addition of Wendy to the Fairy Tail roster. Caster, melee DPS, tank, summoner, and now a support?

(Grey, Natsu, Erza, Lucy, Wendy)

God damn this show is fun.

@Guido LoGH is worth watching...probably.
Watched the second movie. That thing was riddled in plotholes and left so many loose ends. Also I swear to god he told Juiz to spend every last ¥ to become king at the end of the anime. I don't understand where the fuck he suddenly got 1b from. The ending felt really rushed and of poor quality. Ultimately the whole thing went from really fucking good (something I would've thought went up to 10/10) to really mediocre and disappointing. (6/10).

The American cultural influences were nice in this series, and it was refreshing to see it not done in a highschool setting again. The music was okay (some tracks were used over and over and got on my nerves though) and the visuals were good as long as you weren't looking at the characters. Overall it has some enjoyability if you lower your standards in terms of plot.

Finished season 2 of Fairy Tail (49-96). It was shockingly fun to watch, I'm really surprised how well the show keeps up the momentum given how long it is. I was a little sad there wasn't a mini-arc like the last 8 episodes of season one, but it just means I have a lot more to look forward to when the third season finishes dubbing.

I'm in the final 9 episodes of FMA:BH and it's fucking awesome. It reads as an alternate telling, but it's an entirely new plot. I love it

Isn't it just based entirely off the manga?

I wanted to watch that, but they turned the entire thing into a joke. Every serious moment was ruined by stupid derp faces and joke sequences. Couldn't stand it.

DERP faces end halfway through season 3 (24-36) and then it just gets exponentially incredible. It trumps the original FMA in every way possible

Death Note is now featured on netflix. Finally finished it after stopping 8 years ago, and it didn't disappoint. One hell of a ride, that one.

Blue Exorcist, Kill a Kill, and Vampire Knights were added as well, so any reviews on that I'll take into consideration.
