Default Snakes on a Plane

Holy **** I was so not disappointed. It may have been the riotous crowd I was with, but I generally think they did a spectacular job keeping it subtly campy and self-aware without being gratuitously ridiculous. Although there was definitely some ridiculous ****.

also, I loved when halfway through the beginning of the film, they ****ed up switching reels and accidentally inserted one from way in the middle of the action... and suddenly the film was not only 30 minutes advanced, but upside down and running backwards. and the crowd went wild.

ps **** the other topic

I don't think I wont like it to much, but I'm still going to see it so I'm not the only one out of me and my friends who has not seen it.

Yeah in all honesty the movie was kind of cheesy, but the crowd that was in there made it totally awesome.

snakes

plane

oh my god

It did a great job of living up to the hype, although you definitely won't enjoy it as much if you're not aware of everything that went on before the release. The crowd i was in got it, and we had a ton of fun.

also there was thunderous applause when samuel jackson finally said it

also thank you canada for rating it 14A

So, I enjoyed this movie. I will not be recommending it to my mom, though, who had actually gotten kind of excited after my sister and I hyped it. Not her movie.

Anyway, I would like to share some viewer reviews:

This user gave the movie two stars:
"Sadly, this movie is yet another mass media shock tool to subconsciously condition the public into buying into the illusion that planes and acts of terrorism are intricately associated with one another. As if there wasnt enough of that type of fearmongering sold by the mass media already. Its time people woke up to the fearmongering propaganda that the establishment media is trying to instill in the minds of people, so that when terror threats are to be foiled and terror levels are raised, that people will be more easily willing to give up their civil liberties in exchange for security.

People do not understand the danger of this. They do not understand that executive governmental powers are greatly consolidated whenever civil liberties are traded away for more security measures. You can of course criticize this post all you want, but it isnt my intent in here to post a popular-friendly comment. I only post in here to increase your awareness of whats really going on in the real world, regardless of whether you agree with my post or not. Do some valuable research first, and stop relying on the mainstream establishment media to shape your perception of reality. Wake up."

This user gave the movie one star but titled his review "A Zero":
"I think hollywood has finally become desperate and ran out of ideas...
Hey! snakes on a plane, that rymes, lets make a movie about that.
I mean, Snakes on an airplane? Sure ive heard it happen before but nothing that bad! I couldnt even figure out how they got on the plane in the first place. I think hijackers on a plane makes more sense.

DONT SEE IT! UNLESS YOU LIKE GETTING RIPPED OFF.

And i also think that samule l. jackson is TOO GOOD OF AN ACTOR to be in a movie that lame."

Another one star:
"ok...snakes on a plane? has hollywood finally run out of things to make a movie about? first off i would like to know how the snakes got ON the plane in the first place...i mean they just cant slither through the airport and sneak onto a plane without being undetected. common now if you think about it its simply rediculous"

SPOILERS KINDA!!!

I saw it again today. It totally didn't compare to the crowd that was the 10 o clock last night. Minor grievance would be that the harpoon gun Sammy grabs should've been an RPG. I thought it was at first, and I wanted to tell my friends that don't get awesome things like this that he fixed the AC With an RPG. Oh well, the movie still is freaking awesome. In the end, video games saved the day. ONE UP JACK THOMPSON
