I tried running xperl in healer mode when I was healing, but I end up ignoring frames for grid anyhow.

why're so many people satisfied with the original blizzard action bars? If I didn't have Bartender, I'm pretty sure the game would be unplayable.

xperl = 5 mans

grid = raids

at least that's my preference.

Because updating and configuring addons is no fun every time the game updates. Not only that, if you have very limited screen space like I do, the default action bars do save quite a bit of space. If I were to stack my cast bars on each other, I would need four and I can't even begin to imagine how much space that will take up.

I like addons, by and large, that I could actually deal with not working all of a sudden (Since they tend to all break at patch time anyway)

Xperl is the most "invasive" addon I use, and even if it were suddenly replaced with the default unit frames, it woudln't really effect me all that much.

If I were to replace the action bars and get used to the new setup, and suddenly it went back to default I think that would -really- screw me up.

I used WoWMatrix right up until I found out that they link to most of their downloads without the permission of the creator, in many cases give no credit to the creator, and have been known to modify the addons before actually sending them out for download by us.

I don't see how that is any more "invasive" than Grandia's UI. Also, addons are really easy to manage with the curse client. It finds and updates addons for you automatically. Say what you want about addons and curse and what not, but I've never had any problems with my account security. If you download a virus or key logger, that's your own problem.

(P.S: Grid isn't normally that big, it's just set that way to show you how much room it'd take up in a 25 man.)

Also, Bartender's action bars can be resized very easily. I run all my bars at 85% of the normal size they are. I used to have more on the screen, but found that I didn't need more than what I have in this picture.

I dont mind the Blizz actionbars because I scale them really small and just use keybinds like a non-noob :O

Stuff like portals and drinks you don't need to have on your actionbars silly. Now that you aren't leveling, the only time that going rlyfast with your actions matters is in combat. In raids, who cares if you can drink instantly or need to take 0.5 seconds to open your bags and then click on your drink? That's my take on it, anyway.

Where would be a good place to level a 53 Druid? I already cleared out all the quest in the Un'Goro Crater. Someone told be either Felwood or The Burning Steppes. These are good places right?

Felwood is more a 42-50 aread, Burning Steps are more 45-51.

Go to Western Plaguelands and then Eastern.

Speaking of raids, we had a guild run tonight of as many old raids as we could do before we got tired or lost too many people.

Onyxia first. Dead in under a minute.

Molten Core next. Annoying for me since my burst is all fire damage, but done in 40 minutes or so with a group of 13.

AQ40 was next. Still 13 people. Had some trouble on Viscidus due to not enough frost damage and not enough people meleeing, but he went down eventually. The twin emperors were the hardest fight for sure. They just ran around like madmen once the switch happened. We think it was because of dots not getting cleared but weren't sure if that was intentional or not. It's hard to have a warrior not use bleeds or a warlock not use dots. C'Thun was a joke. Very fun though. Got about 500 rep away from being not Hated with the Brood, and we had a Red mount drop.

Then we did AQ20 with 9 people, which was easy all the way through. Nothing important happened.

Then we tried to get the group to do BWL, but as we had been raiding for several hours, many people left and we realized Nefarian is really hard without the Onyxia capes. 3 people went to do Onyxia. I didn't

I farmed AV all night instead! Won 15 matches in a row and earned the Tower Defense achievement (actually got that last night... I love AV weekend). 12 wins away from AV Veteran and 19 graveyard caps away from Grave Robber. Alterac Blitz remains impossible due to the levelers now present in battlegrounds.

I looked back at some of the battleground tables that izzy posted and saw a comment about how much he hated that people could do BGs without resilience. I'm one of those people. I have a full PVP set but I rarely use it. Why would I want to lose 5,000 burst damage from my main attack? I'm a Shaman, I'm going to die no matter how much resilience I have. Once someone singles me out, I'm going to drop, unless I targeted them first. If I can kill you before you touch me, then I win. If you touch me, you win. Resilience doesn't change this. I'd rather have 2,800SP over 1,800.

In AV, all I have to do is Flame Shock, Lava Burst. This does 15,000 damage. If the target has about 15,000 hp or more or I suspect they actually have resilience, I do Flame Shock, Chain Lightning, Lava Burst, Frost Shock. This does 22,000 damage before resilience. It kills nearly everything.

The sickest thing is that if I get Tier 9, my battlegrounding will become absolutely ridiculous. Lava Burst already crits for 10-12k in BGs. Add 20% to that with the 4pc. The 2pc isn't bad either. It makes my Flame Shock tick 3 more times. I can already kill a lowbie with just flame shock ticking, so 3 more ticks will just be sick. I like to stick it on people if they're running past so they're low on health at their destination =p

I'm surprised you didn't pick up on the way to make this fight incredibly simple.

Step 1: Casters to left, Melee to right.
Step 2: DPS away, make sure to stack lots of DoTs
Step 3: Bosses switch spots and threat wipe, EVERYONE STOP ATTACKING
Step 4: All dots on both bosses tick once, both bosses re-aggro to their old side of the room
Step 5: They run back across into handy DPS range of their appropriate side

Also, Viscidus at 80 goes like this: Just burn it all the way to 1%, then pile frost attacks on it. Even if it's one mage using frost lance, so be it. It freezes at 1%, everyone is already in melee range and just swinging. If you have a DK, they cast army, fight over.
