Default Meteor shower, supermoon to coincide Sunday night

Quote:
The supermoon will peak early Sunday evening and the meteor shower will be brightest early morning around 2 a.m. No binoculars or telescopes are required to catch the event, just step on outside and enjoy the natural beauty of the cosmos.
The most recent supermoon event happened last month.

I just beheld the moon outside... I honestly can't believe I had never taken the chance to witness the moon in its fantastic state. The sky barely even feels like night, and it the moon is of simple brilliance, almost as if it was its own sun. It honestly makes me think of this as a hidden beauty, rarely seen, but marvelous and awe-inspiring when it shows itself to the world.

Perhaps I need to look skyward to the night sky more often... there's a whole dimension I've been blind to, filled with amazing secrets.
