Just from replays, I'd say 73-74, it's just fast, doesn't seem to have any tricky parts IMO

Slaytronic: it's fast, but quite straightforward and not in any way confusing. Just practice several times and then you'll nail it. The only thing that I had problems with were random goods, which isn't specified to any part of the simfile.

It can go either way. Crossposted from brag board post:

Quote:

Well--most of Kanon Kanon is 8th notes, so it just takes some slower technique to catch on. Slaytronic has a pretty decent of 16th breaks, some of which include jumps in the middle of. I personally think jumpstream that combines 16th runs at that speed is a bit harder than 8th notes that throws some 16ths with a single jump at the end.

Actually, I want to play Kanon-Kanon again right now so I can visualize the chart a bit better.

EDIT: Just as I remembered. I want to say about 1/2 of Kanon-Kanon was filled with jumpstream that didn't require you deal with jump-chains (jumps w/ jacks if you aren't sure what I mean). The second half of the chart does ramp up a bit, but aside from the (14)232(14)323(14) patterns, there isn't any other 16th jump-streams in there. However, I realize why I feel strongly for this being a VC instead of a FMO, and why people argue over it so much.. It's just a personal preference--I find the constant jump section and 8th notes pretty simple to do. Slaytronic is a bit more demanding with speed in a longer area.

Agreed with mostly everybody at this point, 73 or 74. It's fast, but straightforward, although I find it really hard to PA because the steps are early.

Fun song.
Compare it to Vertex BETA, though. I'd say high 74 or 75.

Nice, now I have another booflag.
EDIT: Never mind, fixed. My final evaluation of the song is 75. 74 is for stuff like Balloon Fever, this is just too fast.

Although I haven't played any rhythm game in the past 2 months other than easy keybeat songs which are so slow, thus my FFR speed and skill has greatly decreased for more difficult songs, like slaytronic, I might not be able to AAA now, but I still think it's a 74, it's just straightforward and needs speed, I still don't think it even compares to the intricacies of Feldschlatt, Bus Rides with People, or Keep in Mind, I just don't see it. VB is still harder.

Also, why the hell is Wish a C? That's a 68-69, those jacks are sooo annoying...

Yes, Wish (Reprise) should be a 10 in my opinion. It doesn't even compare to the level 9s. And no, Perfect Cherry Storm is fine where it is. It isn't that hard.

Wish (Reprise) = IMO its definitely easier than Legendary Etude. I talked to NSane about this. Yes the jacks are ANNOYING, but overall the song is DEF. NOT harder than LE. However, also, I can see it being harder than Turbulence. It's a very difficult song to place, honestly.

Also, Going On Spring Wind. This song should be a VC, imo. I'm not one to want to demote any FMO's to VCs, but this song seriously should be dropped. Feldschlatt is insanely harder that GOSW.

Just my input for the day. Thanks :]

I don't think Feldschatt is harder than Going On Spring Wind, but I find Going On Spring Wind insanely hard because I can't hit those trills that fast.

You can play ruins right? To me, there's no difference. Same with Amefuri Koneko. Feldschlatt is just a pain in the buttocks anyway :/

A) I can never give a good opinion on GOSW, because I find it to be like a 77, but we've talking about it 100 times and it hasn't changed, so stop bringing it up...
B) A pox on all people who say that Wish (Reprise)'s jacks are annoying! They're not hard to PA, and they're actually fun.

Yes, but that doesn't have much to do with what I said, except I would have said it nicer. XP

Versatile: 73 or low 74. Those 32ths are scary.
You will die: 70.

Now that I've AAA'd all the new songs (minus the FGO), opinions:

Slaytronic: 74. Patterns are straightforward, just requires speed, can't even compare to Feldschlatt, Bus Rides w/ People, or Keep in Mind. I drank a cup of coffee and then AAA'd first try. It's not that bad.

Wish: 68. It's VC people, those jacks are annoying as ****

Versatile: 73, not that hard overall (IMO the 32nds are worse in Otter's Dance) but tricky jump patterns and bursts in certain places make a good 73.

You Will Die: 70, jack and ending are tricky not to mention annoying patterns in the middle

Chaoz Fantasy: 54, seriously, why the hell is this C? There is nothing hard about it. Freakin' That is Fair is harder IMO

Saddest RMX: 85-86. I'm leaning towards 85, as nearly every 32nd can be jumped (the only ones that confuse me are the ones with the jumps at the end of the rolls, making a jack), and the hardest part is the intense speed section, but that's not much worse than Electro X8

that's about it
