The way I see it; as long as you're not shoving it down peoples throats and shitposting ponies at any and every opportunity, I don't think anyone really cares what you're interested in. Don't be afraid to do what makes you happy.
 If you enjoy the show, then I think it's fine to keep watching it. If other people don't accept your hobby, then it's their loss. Maybe you'll even find a friend who enjoys the same hobbies you do.

So what you're saying is, you are afraid of people disliking how you spend your down time? If this is the case, why? You do things in your personal time for you, and you alone. It is nonsensical to be concerned with approval for something which only really needs to concern you. Also, why would you tell anyone if you were concerned about such disapproval? If you happen to do something, you don't have to tell people about it.
Like anything else, if you bring it up at inopportune times, or start referencing it when no one else knows what you're talking about, you'll probably get some backlash. If people genuinely are attempting to make you feel insulted over something as trivial as watching a cartoon, that is rather pathetic though. I can't imagine such people would be worth associating with if they aren't even able to handle people doing something so minor.
