Default Coheed and Cambria

I don't know who on here likes this band, but i figure this might be a way to find out. Some might think it is a dumb thread, if so then pass it up. Anyways who on here likes the band. Also wondering what shows you may have gone to and if you have read any of the Amory Wars Saga comics related the bands concept. Also wondering if any of you have been to some of the black card events before their shows. Last show i was at was in Omaha. It was my 3rd show this year. So any if anyone here is a fan I would enjoy meeting. Again sorry if this thread is dumb.

I like a few of their older songs. Haven't listened to whatever CD recently came out.

Year of the Black Rainbow. It's pretty good a lot different then their old stuff. My Favorite albums would have to be Second Stage Turbine Blade and In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3. Their first and second albums. I recommend both. They are my favorite so i like all the albums, but if i had to recommend any it would be those 2. Some people who are more into just rock might like No World for Tomorrow, But being that they are progressive they change it up, and I happen to think they are a great concept band, and one of the first to actually stream their concept through out all of their albums, and to follow it with their own comic series. To each his own though of course. Im just looking for fellow fans.

Personally, I actually really like this band. I've only listened to one of their albums, but it's one of the few albums I can listen to all the way through without skipping around any.

Well thats one person then. Also i see you are a KH fan . As i said in my above post you should definitely listen to those 2 albums I mentioned, and if you like those then go ahead and listen to all 5. If anyone would like to know more about the concept behind the albums feel free to ask.

Mhmmm. That I am. Currently in the middle of attempting to beat KHII. xD I'll probably listen to those two albums, possibly all five. [:

Like Cold Kitten, I've only listened to the one album (actually, I sent it to her. XD):
Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV | Volume One: From Fear Through the Eyes of Madness
(^ I have this title memorized ^)
And I really enjoy it. It's not my absolute favourite album in my collection, but it's one I will listen to and go through the full thing. I've also been on the edge about getting Year of the Black Rainbow so maybe this will help give me the kick in the butt needed to pick it up.

That album is amazing, trust me i have all of them memorized. It's definitely all on its own as almost all of their album have their own unique style. I have a feeling you would like all of their albums. Id say that one is my 3rd favorite out of all 5, but that is hard to say coming from me.

I was really into c&c for a good while and I still listen to them on occasion. The new album is just eh for me though. I just couldn't get into it as much as their other albums. Still like them plenty though. As far as the comic is concerned I haven't checked it out but I've wanted to just been lazy though xd

I can agree i had to let YotBR grow on me for a while. I love the album but it is definitely my least favorite of the 5. I have seen them live 5 times so far and i have met travis and chris from the band. Like i said if you want any info on the comics or the prequel story let me know. I have read all the comics and the YotBR novel. Which i also highly recommend.

All amazing songs. Everything Evil is constantly getting stuck in my head. Hmm well the touring year for them is probably almost up, and I am pretty sure they will be taking a break fairly soon, but Ill find out the next tour plans for them and post them in this thread. I usually go to a couple of shows I ended up going to three this year and had to travel out of state for each one. I met a few other fans that i have known for a while and i think if anyone from here goes to a nearby show it would be cool to meet up. So if you have any interest ill be posting tour dates when i find them.

Pretty much my favourite band. I also haven't heard the newer CD. But I really liked the older ones.

In Keeping Secrets Of Silent Earth: 3 is and will probably always be their best album.

I would say that and Second Stage Turbine Blade are about equal.
