Default Laundry

How likes it and who hates it?

How often do you do it?

How much do you spend on doing laundry?

What kind of detergent and fabric softener do you use?

How do you keep yourself entertained?

I kinda like it. Weird, right?

Because I have a daughter who goes through clothes like crazy, I wash once every two weeks.

I spend around $10 every month because I live in an apartment complex and the machines here om nom money like no other.

I use whatever the fuck smells good and makes the clothes soft c:

I <3 my iPod shuffle. It's my bby. I listen to music to make the time go by faster.

I never really understood why people make such a big deal about doing laundry.. I mean other than separating your clothes by color, what sort of effort is involved? I also never really understood why people expect their parents to do it for them.. eventually you'll have to do it for yourself. It takes me like five minutes to load up the washing machine, I spend like $3.00 on laundry every week, I use Tide laundry detergent, and I usually keep myself entertained by reading or watching youtube vids on my phone.

I have to agree with this. People need to stop being lazy and start learning how to do things themselves rather than having their parents baby them. I can understand the people whose parents don't allow them to do certain things until they reach a certain age but for those who don't have parents like that, you should learn how to do certain things yourself rather than having your parents do most of the work when they're already working their ass off providing you with shit.

My landlord gave me a washer AND a dryer with my house... so i dont have to pay anything for it, or really have to wait, but I do like to use Cheer as my detergent.

I hate laundry. It's like a 2-hour tether on your life.

Bag up laundry, head to elevator. Go down to third floor. Unload clothes. Waste $2.50 or whatever it is now for the washer. Maybe two loads if I have a lot. Return to elevator.

Come back in 50 minutes via elevator. Move clothes to dryer. Waste another $2.50. Leave via elevator.

Come back in an hour via elevator, load up clothes. Return via elevator. Put clothes away.

Next apartment I get is going to have the fucking washer and dryer IN the damned apartment itself. Laundry is my least favorite thing to do. I try to get away with doing it maybe once every 2 weeks or so.

Making laundry is easy, I don't see why people make such a big deal out of it. You don't really put any effort into it, it's just get the clothes and put em in the washing machine that's it.

Different experiences, I live in a house so that wouldn't be much of a problem with the whole moving floors thing

Laundry isn't a pain if you have a washer/dryer at home. But having to go to a laundromat sucks. I would hate having to go in the summer in the like 90 degree weather most of those places didn't even have a fan in them x.x And I wouldn't leave my stuff there because I just don't trust people lol so I had to sit there the whole time.

But otherwise when I have access to a washer/dryer in my home I don't mind doing it at all. Put it in walk away come back in like an hour and switch no biggie.

Don't you already pay an astronomical amount for rent anyway? The least they could do is leave you with a bucket and a washboard.

I prefer laundry when I'm camping: get fully clothed, jump into the lake with a bar of soap, and go hard at any stains. Problem solved.
