Well fuck me I never knew you were the same person

I came up with my name in like 3rd or 4th grade for Lego.com because I hated numbers after my name and wanted something unique. I liked cows a lot at the time, so yea, this was born! Nowadays I use Abraxas for just about everything, but I kinda like keeping this name here.

I think you left while I was using Dr Tran still and didn't come back until after I started using this one.

My brother wanted me to stop using his Starcraft (Brood War days) battle.net account, so I went ahead and made a new one. I thought oxymorons were cool, so I chose this one. Same alias for 14 years. Neat.

Thats an interesting question... But i dont really know why i chosen that name (french canadian makes best english ever yay)

So i rather make a story about it yk
Logic: on another popular game (No name cuz no advertising right?), my name was skullbacsix.
Logic2: i tell myself that it really sucks when we get back in school...

Skull: Rhymes with school, which is what i hate the most for pretty much all the reasons to hate it
Bac: No "k" in "back" cuz the name would look terrible
Six: censored from sucks (sux is still not enough... Because on the other game i play, there is a rule against swearing despite the game being 13+)

Aaaaaand i decided to use only Skullbac on ffr because id rather use a short name for now

I used to be a huge Sonic fan (not that I am not now) back in middle school, and that's where the username came from... and now I'm 24... and this is probably my first post here in literally a decade.

Haha, yeah it was quite a while ago. I signed back on to see whether the forums and my profile were still active and to my surprise it still is.

a random music genre that I don't even care about, account created only for people to play me in MP back in the day (use to if you got an account to 20+ mp lvl no one would play you in fear of losing level) a few good scores later and this became my main

A couple friends and I were brainstorming helping me come up with a username. I wanted something that I wouldn't get tired of and that was unique and interesting. After a lot of thought and different combinations, DissonantMuse was one I came up with and I liked how it sounded. Being an artist, the word muse seemed fitting. a muse is a source of inspiration usually personified as a woman; also why in Greek mythology the nine goddesses presiding over the arts and sciences were called muses (goddesses of inspiration). But it also has an older definition meaning meditation or an instance of reflection so either definition seemed to work. Basically my username means inharmonious inspiration or inharmonious deep reflection. What it means to me is finding harmony in something inharmonious, or finding inspiration in an unlikely place. I like the fact that it can mean a couple different things, but basically the same concept, but I kind of leave it open to interpretation. I just thought it fit my personality and it's stuck ever since.
