Ok I made two tourneys for the ffr league today. I am getting it going again. And I'll come up with a schedule so you will all know what will be happening when in advance to be posted in the next couple days.

April 10th games:
1. 2pm starting time. NL Hold'em. 5 minute blinds. 3k starting stack. play money.
2. 5pm starting time. NL Hold'em. 10 minute blinds. 1.5k starting stack. play money.

if anyone wants more games I can make more. I'm just hoping we will get a few for these couple today. I might be asleep during the first one fair warning

Sadly no one played any of the games. If anyone wants to play message me and I can set up something. I'm going to hold off on a schedule because I don't even know if people are playing again -_-

This is making a comeback right here right now.

Upcoming Tourneys
1. Friday 7:00pm NL hold'em play money. 1000 starting chips 15 minute blinds.
2. Saturday 2:30pm NL hold'em play money. 3000 starting chips 5 minute blinds.
5 minute breaks always at 55 past the hour.

Should I make a new thread?

I've been away and probably will be away for another few days, so you won't see me signing up for these, but after that I'll probably play again.

As for a serious live game, how on earth would that work?

I also pretty much never play people I know for real money. Only have the nerve to steal from people I don't know.

I suppose you could make a real money table in the ffr league, but I have a feeling nobody would play it. I have a feeling most people here wouldn't sit with someone like me HU, so unless there was a scheduled time for a bunch of people to play, the game would never get going.

I made a 1 cent 2 cent table. Otherwise all ring game play money. Just see how it goes that's all.

Very short HU, no?

One hand -- A/9 vs. A/K, figured that I had a shot at the pot so I called a preflop raise with A/9 and the board went J/Q/9. ESM puts in a bet of 1,200 which nearly puts me all in, and after contemplating it, I did put him on an A/K (although wasn't expected a suited one) and tossed it all. Turn was the guillotine though, and it put a 10. Good game though; I look forward to seeing more people on the tables.

I want to add at least one more game for sometime between now and Sunday night. What time do people suggest?

7 or 8 EST sounds really good for me, but I'm not sure about everyone else.

I like the time of the tourney tomorrow, early... at least for this weekend, gotta work late.

Probably should have shoved on the flop, for a longer HU match (not that a win isn't satisfying lol)... Would you have called with bottom pair at that point? You could have afforded to fold :P
I figured a big bet, rather than an all in, would have been stronger, given the situation. Guess not haha.

If you would have shoved the flop I probably wouldn't have went have went anywhere. I did have the chips to fold in our situation, but I legitimately felt like I was better than you were (and card-wise, I actually was). I'm really not upset at the turnout because you did have a decent amount of cards to trump my hand anyway.

Double post.

Pokerstars/FTP/AP have all been sued...no more real money tournaments online for anyone in the US. Not sure what's going to happen to all of the people with money, but from what I've heard about FTP, they can't withdraw their deposits. If you've got money, get your shit out NOW.

I'm pretty pissed off that I can't play my microstakes tournaments anymore. Online gambling being illegal because of the gov't not getting their taxes is a load of crap. Quick, let's stop people from playing games of skill against one another because we're not getting our taxes!
