Pokemon bosses
This is to everyone who plays pokemon: what's the toughest boss you've faced in any of the games that you find almost impossible to beat? If you tell me, I could give you some tips.

Re: Pokemon bosses
None of 'em. Pokemon series never has been tough unless you are into wifi battling dudes with optimal EV/IV with a perfectly bred moveset.

Heh I thought that too. I really hate ghetsis and Cyrus though. They were a pain.

Ash from heartgold/soulsilver, or ash from G/S/C?

Re: Pokemon bosses
Ghetsis and Red were kinda (using that loosely) challenging, but they're all too easy. The game is for kids. Go figure.

Re: Pokemon bosses
Ghetsis: one word in my opinion: DRAGON MOVES LIKE HELL! And red: well use thunder or something on lapras and blastoise, dragon-moves on everything else.

Pokemon bosses V2
This is a different question to my other one. What would you say is the best boss from the series?

Red. Looked forward to destroying to his lvl 81 Pikachu with one hit every day.

Re: Pokemon bosses V2
Ah yes, good ol' red. I keep forgetting what's the minimal level my pokemon should be to fight him the 1st time?

Re: Pokemon bosses V2
well in gsc majority of his pokemon are around level 77. His biggest hitter though is his Snorlax, I always had trouble with it. I normally had a lvl 85 Typhlosion decked out with earthquake, thunder punch, flamethrower and some other random move, either ice punch or like cut lol
I never cared for a balanced team in gsc.

Re: Pokemon bosses V2
This may sound crazy (and its true story) but I once battled red in crystal with just my lvl 86 feraligator (nickname: odairu = feraligator in japanese) and won!

Re: Pokemon bosses V2
Why are these threads not in the game forums?
And why is there a V2? I'm pretty sure this "question" doesn't warrant another thread of the same nature. |
