Boo/Miss Glitch.
Just wondering is it just me or does this happen to anyone else?
Yes, I call it the boo/miss glitch lol. It's when you're in the middle of a full combo or an AAA, and outta no where(Most like in a stream or arrows) you get a boo and a miss at the same time then at the end of the song the score is usually 2000Perfects,0goods,0averages,and 2miss, and 2 boos. I do not have any replay of this to show you what I mean but I'm just asking has this happened to anyone else lately? |

Re: Boo/Miss Glitch.
Well there is a (relatively) known bug that most call the miss glitch, where when you miss one arrow if another follows close behind the engine has a tendency to force you to miss again because it registers for the previous frame (the miss) rather than hitting the current coming arrow. But as far as what you are talking about, I haven't heard much of it..

Yeah you sound right on spot of what I'm talking about lol. You miss and in return for the miss you also get a boo.

Re: Boo/Miss Glitch.
if you hit too early or too late you will get a miss and a boo because a. you hit a key when nothing was in the range of frames for an arrow, resulting in a boo. b. because you hit so early or late, you didn't get any mark for that specific arrow, so it just passes by as a miss.
The known glitch is if you hit a late miss and the engine forces you to miss the next few even if you're hitting them perfectly.

Re: Boo/Miss Glitch.
This is what I was referring to. Anyone know if it will get fixed at all? I'm going to guess it would be a nightmare to fix like the Avmiss glitch.

Re: Boo/Miss Glitch.
You're right, I don't really remember having an issue with it beforehand either. Hm.

And I'm pretty sure the glitch was there pre-revival. Back then, people were probably just more focused on the glitchy replays. |

Re: Boo/Miss Glitch.
Perhaps. I dunno. Maybe I just never missed enough to notice because I FC'd more than tried to PA. Either way, it sucks that it won't be fixed.

I do remember that the day avmisses were fixed, there was a huge gap between when you missed and when your combo would go away, so essentially you could continue to increase your combo for a bit after you missed an arrow. They obviously adjusted that ASAP, but perhaps this glitch is related. |
