FFR Producer Collective
Hi
Hoping to start up something to stir up more activity among the producers that happen to be active in the FFR community. Not expecting a big turnout, just a more organized way of spreading the music that producers of FFR put out. - *The FFR Producer Collective would be a promotional organization consisting of select tracks/EPs/Albums put out by the producers of FFR, including collaborations, individual work, mixes, etc. *With the Collective, you would still be able to put out your individual work on your own terms. You are not required to release any output solely through the Collective. *The final tracks that you as a producer select to share would be put out among, primarily, the Collective's own Soundcloud, Bandcamp, Youtube, etc. as well as whatever of your own personal forms of social networking you desire. *We would all even be able to partake in things such as collaborative EPs/LPs, remix contests, whatever you guys would like. Maybe even the production of our own sample/preset packs. *Possible social mediums: -Bandcamp -Soundcloud -Dropbox -Skype -Our own forums [maybe through yuku or proboards? Might need a little help on that one.] - All i would need to get it started would be a couple of people interested and maybe someone willing to do a little artwork! If you'd maybe be interested, post in this thread. If you're not a producer but are interested in learning, contact me anyways! This might be a great chance for you to get started. --- Possible members: Anwar-inc Pseudo Enigma iPatch Xayphon CBR GammaBlaster Lurker Herogashix .Gazelle. Kommisar Milla Nick Skyline Last edited by Ohaider; 03-24-2014 at 04:44 PM.. |

Would be nice if the FFR recognized some of the producers here and made this an official thing <3

Re: FFR Producer Collective
forumotion is a decent free forum board dealio, and I could probably help you get it set up if that was something you really wanted to do

Re: FFR Producer Collective
I've really been thinking about starting to make music... especially when I got that Korg padKONTROL for my birthday last year, but I'm simply lost when it comes to finding samples in general that I can work with, and how to set up the drumpad properly without having to use pre-made kits on FL studio or something
Even if it's just for buttonmashing, at least I could get around and play on it if I had some drumsamples e: in order to stay on-topic: I don't know why, but I feel like making an own forum just for this is a bit too much at the moment, unless there's suddenly tons of artists coming into this thread. I'm sure SoundCloud and/or Bandcamp will be perfectly fine for the start (y) Last edited by Xayphon; 03-21-2014 at 01:08 AM.. |

Re: FFR Producer Collective
I could enter, but college won't let me be too active in production in the next weeks.

Re: FFR Producer Collective
Thanks so far guys. Would anyone want to maybe help out with the more visual side i.e. bandcamp template/soundcloud display picture/etc
So far this is seeming pretty possible. google forms for song uploads seems like the most reasonable way to send tracks in |

Re: FFR Producer Collective
Count me in, might finally be enough motivation to sit down and start figuring stuff out. I can help with visuals if needed

Re: FFR Producer Collective
I'm totally in and willing to do some art (I'm not that good)
I don't really see a need in having our own forum, I feel like nonFFR issues can be handled privately and anything else can just go in this thread. |
