Default File Disappearance

On my external harddrive, I had several folders with names starting in Japanese letters (埼玉最終兵器Saitama Saishuu Heiki and はなわくせいHanawakusei). All of a sudden, my EHD fails to recognize the existence of the folders, and I can't find them even with the search function. However, I know they're there because: 1) After I move the visible contents out of the folder, I can't remove the folder due to the message "The directory is not empty" and 2) The occupied space doesn't match the amount visible in the folder.

Folders that have Japanese but don't begin in Japanese letters are visible. It's just the folders starting in Japanese that aren't recognized.

Any ideas?

This is not happening on my computer. Only on my EHD. LaCie 500GB.

What is the formatting type. Fat32 or ntfs.
Maybe your language settings from windows isn't crossing over because the formatting isn't consistent.

I just made that up, but it sounds legit.

AIM etc.

Oh, I found Kodomo no Jikan all 13 uncensored if you want.

And on that note, this thread is now done.

Lol, I am not so interested now that i know the storyline. It wasn't so much the video censoring that annoyed me as the audio censoring. Why do they even have to edit subtitles. How am i ever going to understand the full plot if they censor subtitles. wtf.

Sure, send me some links. I might look through it to see what those words were.
