Re: Yolomania Vol. 4 Submissions Open
lol I somehow FCed that long 32nd stream in Overworld every time so I thought it was easier than it actually is, but yeah I can see it being brutal on rates too. did what was suggested and made it into 24ths buildup into two beats worth of 32nds and then 24ths again, seems much more feasible now.

Re: Yolomania Vol. 4 Submissions Open
I'm still working on mine's right now. Will definitely want to get at least one in, although I would do more if I can squeeze them in.

Re: Yolomania Vol. 4 Submissions Open
Time to Air: I should remove that trill only at the end, right? If yes I can resubmit now. Or should I lose all trills in a whole chart?

Re: Yolomania Vol. 4 Submissions Open
pls dont blindly take away 1h-trills entirely.. since they're a slightly more complex pattern (like jacks), its preferred for them to be used for a clear reason similar to how ppl use jumps following percussion. does tht mean avoid using them? not at all.
the most common ways to use them is for whether its emphasis on pitch relevance or if its following a specific sound. Grief + Malice is a recent example of trills being used within a stream of notes to emphasize a sound. Attention was made so tht there would be no trill other than when those sounds occurred (like how one would use jumps when they hear the percussion). bottom line, if someone spots it out in your chart you should be able to explain why u made it the way it is (this actually goes with every note in an entire chart which is sometimes hard to explain other than the fact tht ''it just feels right''). Difficulty spikes can occur when they are overwhelming in a way tht puts itself apart from the rest of the chart and thts wut judges r here for.

Re: Yolomania Vol. 4 Submissions Open
Submissions close 11:59PM EST Saturday, November 7th, so just over 3 days from now.
Reviews in the last batch will either be Accept or Reject, no conditional/no resubmits after the deadline. There may be some fringe case things that we'll work out with individual submitters if necessary, such as minor sync fixes and whatnot. Batch 7 reviews coming tonight as expected. Re: Yolomania Vol. 4 Submissions Open
extrasolar feedback makes sense how i feel with the file, it has interesting parts but i can't seem to get the middle right, and the sync randomly gets off
Missing banquet roll is weird but learned to love it Will try to fix extrasolar for the final batch my fingers are ready for more yolomania!

Re: Yolomania Vol. 4 Submissions Open
Excluding the already given feedback, anything else I need to look at on Orange Trees, Blue Screen? Same goes for Gelnika's Wall (the feedback was pretty in depth but I'd like some more if that's okay).
